[Ruins] Taura Abandoned Village Now Has It Disappeared? Exploring Ruins Yokosuka City, Kanagawa

This time, I will introduce the modern abandoned village of Taura. Taura Abandoned Village is the common name for the area behind the Taura substation in Taura-cho, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is sometimes introduced as "Ghost Town T", "Taura Residential Area", etc.
It was not deep in the mountains, but close to the city, and it was a hot topic because of the fact that more than 20 houses had been abandoned. From 1997 (Heisei 9), 534 housing units were planned to be developed as "Shonan Taura New Town" in Taura-cho 3-chome and 4-chome.

For some reason, the plan was interrupted, and it seems that the house that was already inhabited was left unattended. The vacant house was demolished, and the number was written on the house, creating an eerie atmosphere. Some of the buildings were half-destroyed, and some houses were nicknamed "Kaya Palm House".
Since around 2017, entry into the surrounding area has been prohibited, and the police have been patrolling frequently, and it was dismantled in February 2019. The site will be developed for tourism as a firefly habitat.
In this channel, I walk alone in towns, ruins, abandoned housing estates, and deep spots. I started taking a walk because I like buildings that feel the old-fashioned Showa era.
