Dave hitting the drums so lightly and delicately just gets me every time
yeah he also has a great voice too he should start a band
bahahahah he's trying so hard to be gentle it's hilarious
The drummer's name is actually Chad Channing
yeah i wonder if he can play guitar
@@addison_deez Dude do you not see Kurt playing the guitar so why are you wondering if he can play guitar
Seriously this unplugged live is a fuller sound than most bands have when they’re produced. And Kurt’s vocal cuts through to my soul.
I could'tagree more. This is hors categorie.
sorry for my bad spellling :)
Yeah he is a legend.
This live performance is by far the best album Nirvana put out.
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🌊🤘
The MTV unplugged performance is so iconic, Kurt's voice is really emotional and beautiful, everything about this show is so full of energy.

@@sofeaaa8343 ...i'm assuming you're a chld. It's a running joke with Dave Grohl. People say "he looks like the drummer from nirvana" "he has a great voice he should try singing" "I wonder if he's any good at guitar" it's just a thing that people do.
Yeah, maybe that Pat guy they have with them could join him?
I'm 43 now and I still think this unplugged album has 100% stood the test of time. It's great that I could share one of my most fav bands with my son and he can appreciate them now in his 20s. It's still hard to watch Nirvana as the nostalgia hurts so much for some reason, but it's not just Nirvana and Kurt.. it's for the whole 90s! I'm just glad I lived it man ❤
Same. I miss the 90s so much. I'd love to go back. Undoubtedly the best decade of my life. Early 2000s weren't bad but then everything kind of went to hell. Now I'm sitting here in my 40s getting misty eyed at Nirvana.
Whoop!!!
Yeah... good old 90s... I miss that decade. Last decade of human history which had its own soul. With the new century, we started witnessing decades which lack their own souls. This is so unfortunate...

I love how Kurt is so serious when he’s playing his solos. And he moves his jaw like he had TMJ which I wouldn’t doubt because that’s common with perfectionists.
Hemoves his jaw like he's all coked up. But dave said in an interview that he did that to keep the beat.
@@bradsully6620 that is what I always thought but most people kept on saying it was because of drugs and in my mind I was just like “that seems like something you would do to keep time” because my friend who writes his own songs and such makes a click noise with his mouth (not when he is singing but just playing) to keep time and or add “drum beats”
I actually only watched this video because of that jaw movement. I’m currently reading Dave’s new book. In it, he said that from an early age, he played percussion in his mouth with his teeth. He also said that he only met one other person who did this as well and it was Kurt, to which he said Kurt’s habit is most noticeable during this show.

Reminiscent of a funeral. Eerie.
i think it might be due to his scoliosis

@KAֆH Kenny shit I have scoliosis and I love office chairs😂
Kurt had a very special voice. It’s great to hear all the mannerisms that went into his sound, the little ‘cries’, the transition from natural to coarse that was his signature. Loved this!
@Foo Fan bruh stop tryna advertise what's very clearly your own music, dude is clearly reminiscing about Nirvana and came to this video for Nirvana. and for the record, Solar Kama Sutra, in both name and music, sounds like shit. just saying.
His voice was perfection on this. So pure.
Dave said he had a beautiful singing voice and kind of put on the growl, gruff effect. That just added to their uniqueness.
Great film but you're right. The true, TRUE story was far from wholesome. Very dark history. Barnum was not a nice man.

it's called being murdered, never believe the mainstream narrative on this kind of sh*t
@@freedomlow-fi5193 exactly. people still believe Courtney is innocent
If Courtney Love wanted Kurt Cobain dead, why did she;
1. Raise the alarm when she awoke to find that he was unresponsive and had overdosed in Rome (March 4th)?
2. Call the cops when he locked himself in a room with a bottle of pills and a gun, which resulted in the confiscation of these items (March 18th)?
3. Arrange an intervention to encourage him to enter a detox facility and undergo treatment for his heroin addiction (March 24th)?
@@extraterrestrial736 You have a point but he didn't overdose that was Courtney, she put a drug that would give him temporary amnesia and make him unconscious, she then shoved those pills down his throat I assume cause the drug she put in his drink knocks the person that eats/drinks it out. Here's more proof there are a lot of loose ends to the supposed suicide for instance
1. How did the shotgun shell end up on the other side of where it normally ejects out of the shotgun, their was no projectile close enough to deflect the shell to the other side of his body; im referring to when his body was found.
2. Kurt would not be able to pull the trigger cause he had 3 times the lethal amount of heroine in his body that would atleast knock him out hense not being able to pull the trigger.
3. Courtney hired a private investigator named Tom Grant to investigate Kurt's death and Courtney wouldn't tell him things until a day later trying to distract him from finding Kurt dead.
4. Kurt was about to sign her out of his will then before he could he supposedly commits suicide doesn't that seem a little suspicious?
Need I say more?
@@maddieforenster2479 The chief medical examinator of King County inspected Cobain's body in the Greenhouse, he explained that he doesn't find his heroin intake problematic enough to prevent him pulling the trigger.
I don't find the will suspicious at all, it was enough stress being the worlds biggest band at the time with a controlling emotionally abusive wife along with trying to take care of his daughter for him to break and do what he did.
99% of these conspiracies neglect the childhood and severe adulthood depression he had throughout his entire life and how his drug problems furthered him to a outcome like it was.
