There's a new shard around about how to prevent slot pickpockets. A nice tie-in to Edgerunners. One is near the new Edgerunner mission marked on the map.
There's also another one about the Trauma Team and how they're just glorified scavs, in reference to Gloria.
@@oldsk0ol I adore how dumb a lot of the slang in cyberpunk universes are. Picksockets is incredibly good.
you don't have to have clothing in stash. You just had to have it at some point in time to enable it for transmog.
This was the best change for me, now I can sell loot and not worry about missing the look. Also means I don't need to carry a ton of items with me.
@@spell2355 Not true. I have a save from the release of the game and all of the clothing i received have been put into my wardrobe.
1:56 so we're not gonna talk about Tiny Mike flying out of the car?
One thing I'm glad hasn't been fixed is the glitchy NPCs. They did fix them falling over dead bodies at least which admittedly took away a bit from the combat. I had an NPC (standing by the tent overpass in Pacific where the delamain car stops at then end of one mission) looked like he was having a full blown argument with another NPC that was not there, start shooting at me when I punched the car, take cover behind a vending machine, I hacked the vending machine to overload, it shocked him and he went back to his spot like he wasn't just shooting at me, then proceeds to walk to the edge of the bridge...through fire, catching himself on fire in the process, I walked over to him standing looking off the edge of the bridge, he says something like "what are you stalking me or something?", then walks back to his original location, through the fire again, setting himself on fire.
Hats off to Cdpr for not abandoning the game like BioWare did to andromeda
They are planning to abandon it after releasing (and patching) their upcoming DLC.
They announced that Phantom Liberty will be CDPR's last product using REDengine.
They are switching to Unreal Engine 5.
Work on the next Witcher game already started with it.
I hope the community does incredible things with mods, especially after they released their official modding tool REDmod.
@@RobertRindik Still far more than Bio did with andromeda and if the dlc is good most will be happy with it.
Hey, at least andromeda is playable and has a full story. Anthem didn't even have a full story to it.
@@RobertRindik Aside from that being wrong (they said they were won't be any more content patches after Phantom Liberty but there will be more technical patches), there's a difference between abandoning a game and finishing content updates. Abandonment implies that they stopped before they were finished or done with it. What CDPR is doing is just finishing up content releases.
Owned the game for almost 2 years and never played it because of all the negative reviews. I’m finally playing it now and I gotta say it’s fantastic. I’m really digging the storyline and the mechanics, gunplay is pretty great, ppl should give it another chance
Wait until your phone glitches continually and doesn't allow you to progress, because the use of any feature where selecting dialogue doesn't work.
@@fateisme nope just started my second and play through now on a series x. 12 hours in I can't do anything to progress because the phone is glitched to a phone call. No matter what route I take, side mission, cyber psycho or trying to start the mission ghost town it gets locked around my 12 hour mark.
It's so good. It's been hard to try to explain that the condition the game was shipped in is a whole different issue to the quality of the game itself.
@@tronovich try messing with the settings. There’s a feature that sends calls automatically to texts on/off maybe that might help?
Placide's meat cleaver was also turned into an iconic weapon. You can pick it up during your first conversation with him. However, if you forget to grab it you won't be able to pick it up later since the room is gonna be locked permanently. Even if you use a mod to get back inside, the cleaver will stay unoptainable.
I have great news for you Bub, there's this mod called cyber engine tweaks that adds an ingame console where you can just give yourself all iconic items with commands, what's even better is that the official cyberpunk Wiki has all the ids for each item.

Post launch of patch 1.6, I noticed more instances where trauma team care units will be tending to a recent death of some kind, blocking off the sector so they can proceed cleaning up whatever "mess" occurred. In addition, the frequent rate for aerial ambulance vehicles hovering over NC has also been bumped up. Although a minor improvement, I anticipate to see an overhaul of not only the NCPD, but also NCTC in terms of the amount of encounters and encounter types, conducive to producing a more ambient and nuanced experience with Night City.
The wardrobe seems to keep everything you've had in your inventory, even if you dont have that piece of clothing in your inventory anymore, it still is in your wardrobe, so if its been through your inventory, it will be in your wardrobe which is pretty cool. You dont have to worry about ever losing wardrobe opportunities
tho is there a limit to how many clothes you can have in your wardrobe I haven't gotten a lot of clothes so I'm wondering
@@ZombiePig2004 Like the other dude said, no limit. it's pretty much just a collections tab of clothing, a compendium, if you will.
If you follow that cop in the second police marker (outside the prison), he drives all over the city, and never loses his target marker, nor does he despawn. I drove around behind him for nearly 20 minutes, until he just stopped on the highway near Kabuki and started telling me to go away. Maybe I got too close to him too often? Was pretty cool, though, tracking him like a PI.
It's what helps make RDR2 feel so real. Everyone has a routine and you can follow them all day to see what they get up to. Not just random people spawning in and out.
@@ConnorHammond Amazing how alive the world of RDR 2 feels and it varies for many npc's on daily basis, they do not just repeat the same each day.
Seeing as tiny Mike is millitech related, it makes me wonder if all these appearances he has during this update could be a setup for him being in the expansion
Slowly (too slowly, I admit) they are fixing all things left behind. I really hope for consoles players that Cdpr will bring something like creation center to the game... There are some mods like playable arcade cabinet, flying cars, gameplay rebalance, garage and virtual atelier that are really a game changer.

There’s two NPCs talking outside of the closed off zone in the Tiny Mike gig also- nothing out of the ordinary- but you can actually walk up and interrupt them and talk to them and continue conversation, though it’s kinda a part of the quest (you can ask them if they know what’s up with the lock down or similar) I think it’s a sneak peek at what will be possible with the next gen update, full police rework, more or all interactable NPCs etc

Next time I'm at a crowded street on Cyberpunk, I'll scream
FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPEROR and pull out Cut-O-Matic
So what tons of people don't know. In cyberpunk Red states some AI is alien-made and is spying on humans due to space travel is slow. So yeah, old net runners might have seen a few and are scared. It was a low key thing in the books and some of it was hinted in game. One other thing, there is a car bombing near the same place as that clothing store but by the cost. It nearly got me.
Wait where does it say that? Is that in Tales of the Red or did I just miss that somehow?
@@GargoyleBard Red, in the net runner rules and AI's. Then in the setting it also said something due to space travel was slow the alians sent Ai's to gather info on us and etc. very easily missable if you don't look for it.
This might make an interesting space opera since they usually always being an utopia like Star Wars or Mass Effect and not very grim and hopeless like Cyberpunk or Deus Ex.

The new car you mentioned in 8:23 can be found in the new mission by rogue "Nasty Hangover" being driven by the guy paying for the mission
There's definitely some new meditation stuff... i think - i played after 1.5 and I never saw the people in like courtyards of Megabuildings doing the tai chi stuff. But then again maybe they just increased the chance of it occurring. It also seems some legendary cyberware have been moved. Legendary gorilla arms are no longer where they used to be.
Yeah, they moved to some other ripper or something. All I know is that the ripper sells all legendary arms
I have noticed new random appearances and random voice line interactions. Also, though I did not like the target analysis nerf I think the sell price of weapons went up to compensate so will be using drop points a lot more now. Also if I'm not mistaken enemy packs seem to randomly populate now in previously cleared areas so you don't have to rely on the few go-to zones to farm mobs.
I noticed the buff to weapon selling prices too. This definitely makes it more worthwhile to keep my Body stat high and select perks and implants to help with carrying capacity.
@@supremesea9463 yes. They sell for 100 each, rather than 760, so you can't just fill your inventory with the things and get 100K within a few minutes.

i feel like the game is overall more fun now, i havent played since i beat it a few weeks after release but im having alot of fun this run through, helps that i picked what to put my attribute points into
I've been playing the game since right after patch 1.5 on a next gen console. I took a break for a couple months, came back for patch 1.6, and I swear I'm seeing new things left and right. For example, were there actual NCarts animated on the monorail lanes before 1.6? I don't remember them. And then there was a giant fight I had with Tiger Claws in a section of Japan Town that I didn't recognize. The boss dropped the Sovereign shotgun spec, at which point I realized that I had stumbled upon an old NCPD mission from the complete opposite direction from how I had found it in every other playthrough and that that totally changed the fight. There's just so much to Night City that I can't keep track of it all.
Fun fact: if u reload before 1.5 game save, you will got all before 1.6 crafting material
Great video! You should consider a 1.6 modding guide update!
A lot of people are coming back (like myself) and aren't sure which mods work best with the updated mechanics. For example, transmog mods aren't needed now, but there might be some with extra features the game doesn't have. I wouldn't know but I want to! No one else has done it and we need it!
Keep up the good work!
Oh I found that cop listening to some suspicious stuff and thought it had always been in the game and just never found it. It's cool they're adding more world building stuff
4:26 “So anyway, I started spraying…”
i honestly just hope they add the ability to play brain dances. i went and bought all the legendary BDs just to find out that no matter what you do. you cannot run it. woulda been cool to just experience extra things that could help immerse more into the world.
just played 80 hours with 1.6 and it feels great. time to run all of the endings. everything else is done!
edit : correct build version
Agree, the BDs are a big part of the game and yet for some reason the players can't access it outside of missions? Although to be fair a lot of them are literal porn lol
@@Verm0uth07 The game even goes through all the trouble of making them purchasable, but they just sit in your inventory, same as certain ahem, items.
If they're going to put that stuff in the game give it a purpose. The game is rated R for mature audiences already, you've done your job to keep it out of the hands of children, nothing more you can do. The Cyberpunk experience feels too much like an action shooter first and foremost, and an open world rpg secondary. As wide as an ocean, as deep as a puddle. All of it is tell, don't show.
So, I’m almost positive they stumbled when you ran into them before 1.6. I also bumped this one like 3 times in a row and they decided to start a fight with me. I didn’t even pull a weapon and instantly got a warrant. Might be a bug, but I found it interesting.
Near the cop car just sitting there you showed, I found either pozhar or kyubi as a static spawn leaning against a vending machine. I forgot which one is was because other dropped from one of gang members there beating on the machines
I came across a yellow NCPC car chase. A cop car was chasing another car. I don't remember where it happened though.
Something of note.
I did a crime report (one of the side things on the map) and went off to do something a while later, came back and found the police had taken the area and blocked it off. Idk if that was always in the game but it certainly feels nice.
With how much you cover CyberPunk since it's release, I wouldn't be surprised if the secret you missed is a reference to your channel somewhere in the world. Maybe a mural or something lol. You definitely deserve it
Excellent review, thank you 👍👍👍
Yo there’s that new high-recoil iconic shotgun in city center you forgot to mention, behind those 3 monks in a bush
It's called Guts, and has nasty recoil, 20 projectiles per round, and, it's recoil kick back, prevents fall damage if fired near the ground. And for those wondering where you mentioned, the glass ceiling over the highway right south of the Arasaka building. up top, in a bush. just follow around, you will find it eventually.
i hope you keep making cyberpunk content. there’s just not enough out there and there’s sooo much good stuff in the game to discover and point out
Actually I have recently started a new character with a samurai build and found some new things.
This is still in prologue but I started finding a bunch of hidden dead edgerunners all over the place.
Most had some kind of epic loot as well. They also had some lore to them. Like messages and stuff.
I am sure that some of them weren't there before. Since in most play through I was doing all the NCPD stuff before completing the main story line. I would stumble on edgerunners dead bodies.
Like the one near the hospital that was for some reason looking at the patient in coma but somehow short circuited. Among other changes.
Point is, some hidden changes might be locked behind act 0 or act 1, etc. But not appearing afterwards.
The wardrobe works like the transmog in Assassins Creed Odyssey once you get a new piece of clothing it is added to the wardrobe and you can freely sell or dismantle it and still have its appearance.
I am pretty sure the prison protest was there at 1.5
Not happy that there are no legendary items nor any clothing mods or crafting schematics at vendors.
And no, they don't drop from enemies. Spent 2 days farming the highest-level zones in the game - mostly green and blue items with a couple of purples. Not a single clothing mod or crafting schematic dropped. 2 DAYS!
Thanks for testing and sharing! This sucks big time and it gets even worse with the reduced mod slots of 1.5. I don't get the change either. How is it even possible that with everything they improve with an update they make another thing worse? Vendors should list their whole inventory in the first place and also still sell all the legendaries.
@@dominicbetz1371 For what it's worth - I'm testing with a 1.0 save file. Some players who start new playthroughs after every couple of patches are getting slightly better drops/spawns but I'm not willing to start over. Maybe after the expansion is released and they announce there will be no new content but not now.
This is not EA nor a technical alpha (although it feels like one at times). IMO, having to create fresh save files in order to cope with bugs is a bad user experience and does not speak well for the coding skills of CDPR devs.
What the game needs is a rotating system of new gigs and side hustle missions. Even races...there's no endgame content. Secondly better clothes/Cybernetic cosmetic limbs considering everyone has them.
There is a little thing to find on the crossroads to judys lake hut and towards the poppy farm. Definitely a new "POI with shard". I think I found 1-2 more but cannot remember. I really hope there is some more to find.

There's also been a few easter eggs and a weapon added from cyberpunk edgerunners as well as the car being a secret mission
Hey. I just wanted to say i really enjoy and appreciate your content :)
I have never seen this mentioned all the hidden secret videos, but this happened to me in 1.6, in the Center, where you have an apartment, there is an FF Statue. The building in front of the glass structure (you hear birds inside it), that building on the left side road at 4:30, there was an old small 3 door hatchback car parked there on the sidewalk, it started to beep when I got near it, and it just explored. There was no one there. It was so strange. Has anyone seen this?
If the car exploded its likely just the car bomb event, those happen regularly tbh
@@exemplar7205 Ah yes, of course we're all familiar with the Cyberpunk 2077 "car bomb event" /s.

1:55 The dude who was driving in air nearly killed me 🤣🤣
Played a lot since downloading the 1.6 patch and the games state has improved so much since I last played it. Don’t remember which patch it was but it was about 9 months ago and I was still getting quest glitches and random fuckery happening while driving but now everything seems groovy
I think this patch updated the dynamic open world more than anything.
That's so sad that they will stop supporting the game after the DLC...

@@ilias856 well, Hope it's so. Game have so much potential and in general there are no so much games in this genre, I mean dark cyberpunk, so the market is free. Coz it has much more specialists around the world and it's much more easier.
But in anycase, most likely we will see new CP in 4-5 years due to Witcher 4 and DLC's
@dj Kplus and what did they say?) This would be the first and last DLC for CP, after that they ending the work with RedEngine, which means that 90% of ppl will be moved to other projects or other engines. 10% enough for making like minor patches. 1:56 great job with the editing ign. LOL
After watching edge runners I’d be all for optional CO-OP and weapons skin transmog for the next game! I think running with a crew or just having followers would be fucking shimra.
After 1.6 patch I noticed extra scenes were added to some cut scenes and animations of npcs and UI interfaces were also changed and the atmosphere of NC also changed and yet they are all not much very ground breaking or anything the red engine has its limits and i can really see each update cdpr fixes some bugs but after updating the game another few more new bugs are also occur🤧. the police system and performance are also 👎. This is my opinion the performance issue I'm currently facing is after updating this game to 1.6 1.5 was a stable update.
I got the new car from a quest in the badlands (atleast it looked similar to the one in the video, different color though). It was a car commercial shoot that went south and turned into a murderscene
For the wardrobe, do I have to put them in my stash to have them unlocked for transmog? Or is it for everything I’ve picked up?
How is it a negative that you have to interact with the world to get legendary stuff? I see it as a positive to actually do jobs and missions to get them instead of interacting with a menu.
Well, one thing I can think of is it would be more difficult playing in a later game save trying to optimize your build if you've completed most of the jobs and gigs already.
Here is a list of things that existed before 1.6 so people won't get confused:
1) Police Traffic Stops. Unless new ones have been added.
2) NPCs getting Car Bombed. Spawn rates have decreassed or became one-off events however.
3) NPCs having a dance party in a parking lot. Often with gangers too.
4) Non-NCPD wanted level response in Badlands (Militech), SoCal Border Gate (Border Patrol Agents) and Pacifica (Afterlife Mercs). All but Pacifica had this since day 1.
5) Weapons that were part of the the 1.5 patch have been mistaken as part the 1.6 update.
I'm sure theres more but those are the ones I've seen people report as part of 1.6 update but are not in actuallity.
I did notice that I was finding Legendary items as drops more often.
The Tiny Mike heist is one of my new favourites. And Tiny Mike himself has got to be in my top 5 favourite characters from this game, even though we only spend like 5 minutes with him
It is sooooo good to see the game finally hit beta! can't wait to see how it will be when fully released
(ofc this is a joke)
What’s the sword you’re using at 2:57 ?
In my game recently, I came accross a police car with the yellow icon chasing down a maelstrom car for a few blocks. Then, they stopped and had a gun fight, each side hiding behind their own car movie style.
I don't know if it's new, but I definitely never saw that before in my playthroughs last year.
I hope they continue to support the game and down the line, make a new story within Night City with a new character sorta like if we could play as David.

Did they add NG+ with this update or is that going to come in at a later date?
What level do you have to be to do the new gigs?
Any Idea how I can get the Hypercritical after I did the Gig? I picked it up, used it a bit but as I was low level I either sold it or scrapped it thinking I would get other Versions later on, not knowing that there are none. Any Console Command that I can use or something similar?
How do you create the Character from the Thumbnail? is it possible without mods?
I have noticed an increase of better loot drops but only after act 2 begins. In act 1 you barely find any mods or specs. I think I only found the specs for oxy booster and a flashbang along with specs that gun stores sell.
Finished the game when it first came out. Finished it as a chore back then. Now I am playing again and I am actually enjoying it this time. There are still a few things that needs polishing but overall the game has been improved a lot.
I'm pretty sure the car you mention at 8:15 is one that you can buy from one of the fixers (Dino, I think). Looked like one of the ones I bought and I think it was 18k eddies.
God, you opening fire on the prison and just abruptly cutting away made me laugh so fucking hard
What level did you do the tiny Mike job?
Off topic: Has the trigger for "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" change too? I just did the many storyline helping Panam, and I didn't get any notification about the Rattler. And when I went to check out the spot where it was suppose to be, it wasn't there.
Garry the prophet needs to come back from alpha centauri and give us more missions against techno necromancers.
When I noticed they patched out the target analysis cash farm method I shed an actual tear I used that to get all the cool stuff I wanted that would take me hours of farming all the gigs and NCPD scanner events
I didn't know if it was just me, but I noticed it in everybody's videos, the Black Unicorn no longer illuminates or gives off lens flares, kind of a bummer, was a neat detail.
I noticed some of my iconic weapons are missing after the patch. Like Stinger is just gone, and so is Oda's sword that I got from him. Aint nothing I can do about it either since im hundreds of hours in.
Does it make sense to cheat yourself at max level at the beginning and then play to get the equipment for the current level? or can you still farm everything when you are level 50

Finding good loot while doing missions or exploring is always so much more rewarding than just buying it from a merchant. I like that change.
Don’t forget it’s also free
Recently i started to really appreciate both - Either you can get it by gaming, OR, if you are unlucky or you somehow miss it, you always have the option to just buy it.
I never really visited merchants and I'd prefer to save money for cyberwear, clothes and vehicles; so having them appear more commonly around the game is nice!
