I really hope we get more music like Lake Effect Kid (album and the song).
I know it was a happy accident, but I think it really brought out the best of Fall Out Boy. The combination of old and new styles worked so well, and I'd love for them to take more inspiration from it. I'm also aware Lake Effect Kid (the song) was originally a demo promoting Folie a Deux back in 2008, but the finished version has a great classic and modern Fall Out Boy sound, bringing the best of both worlds together. TERPS FAN 22. Yeah, it really did give off a Folie feel to it, which made it even better! In a way, it's like they gave us Foile a Deux's baby brother (if that makes any sense) just in time for its tenth anniversary.

Pete always described fans as kids even when he was younger. There's a video of the band being interviewed very early in their career and he used the word.

I really hope they do some sort of POV professional videography thing for the MANIA Experience for those who can't make it. I'm sure their will be tons of photos and videos from fans, but I wanna see it from there point of view how they envisioned it to be experienced.
Honestly I just hope Fall Out Boy continues to make music pretty much forever, I love every direction they go in. And this EP was the happiest accident in the world I’m actually addicted to it.
By now, I'm as much a fan of James as I am of Pete and Andy, let's be real.

I was really digging Pete's hair last year at a shorter length.
But it being so long just makes him look like some happy old man and it's hilarious.
They always find a way to bring me joy.
Looked better black with the hints of red as a throwback to 2004 not such a fan of the blonde but Pete's long hair is pretty cool also Bishops Knife Trick and Wilson were hands down the best songs on the album, best songs on American Beauty American Psycho were easily The Kids Aren't Alright, Favorite Record, Jet Pack Blues, Novacaine, Twin Skeletons
If FOB8 turns out to be a mix of those songs and Folie/Infinity which I'm hearing it might just be then we could have the BEST post-hiatus Fall Out Boy record on our hands here this could be incredible

Pete always says Fall Out Boy can do anything like score a film which is a huge vision but I just hope they take their time and have a motivational feel while developing ideas. It can be interesting but not a good way. You can appreciate the experimenting but you don’t have to like the product.

Yes. The way the band operate it really is best that Pete and Patrick do the interviews.

Pete and Patrick are the main creative forces in the band. That's why Joe and Andy don't have a lot to say in interviews. When I watch an interview I want to learn about how the music came together. It's not about feeling sorry for Joe and Andy. It's about which members of the band can best answer questions about the music.
@@erlineandrews For the last few records Joe has been writing with Patrick and Pete, For Save Rock and Roll, Joe and Patrick wrote together for a lot of it. Joe is just as involved in the writing process as Pete and Patrick.
Which song on Mania did Joe write? In no recent interview did I hear him say he came up with so and so song. In fact in one interview Joe couldn't even remember the names of the songs on the album. Patrick has spoken in interviews about writing Church, Young and Menace, Last of the Real Ones, Hold Me Tight or Don't and Stay Frosty. I assume he wrote the other songs as well. In no interview did anyone talk about Joe writing any of the songs.
