A must-visit highlight is the iconic Kingdom Centre. Ascend to the sky bridge, 300 meters above the city, for a breathtaking panoramic view. The sheer size of Riyadh unfolds before your eyes, making it an unmissable spectacle.
Delve into Riyadh's history at the Al Masmak Palace Museum, nestled in the old city center. Wander around the adjacent Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Grand Mosque and indulge in shopping at the Dirah Abaya market.
Embark on a cultural journey by exploring the Al Rajhi Mosque with a free tour. I also visited the King Khalid Grand Mosque. However, the crown jewel for me was The National Museum, offering a fascinating insight into the history of Saudi Arabia and Islam, narrating the journey of Prophet Mohammed from Makkah to Madinah.
Experience the Al Bujairi Heritage Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, providing a glimpse into the past amidst its evolving surroundings. For a serene escape, venture to King Abdullah Park, though note that it comes with an entrance fee.
Venture beyond the city to the Edge of the World-a remote but awe-inspiring location. My attempt to reach the exact spot was an adventure in itself, emphasizing the raw beauty of the Saudi landscape. Conclude your journey at the mesmerizing Red Sand Dunes, a short distance from Riyadh, offering a captivating glimpse into the desert's allure with its striking red sands.

Objevte v mém 2 minutovém videu Rijád, hlavní město Saúdské Arábie, natočeném v listopadu 2023. Během čtyř dní jsem prozkoumal velkou část Rijádu a jeho okolí.
Přesouvání se mezi místky v této megapoli, je překvapivě snadné. Většina památek je nedaleko od sebe. Pronájem auta může být možností, akorát se připravte na vzrušující, ač chaotický, zážitek z řízení v Rijádu.
Must-visit zastávkou je ikonická stavba Kingdom Centre. Zde je možné koupit lístek na Sky Brighe tyčící se 300 metrů nad městem. Tato atrakce Rijadu nabízí krásný panoramatický výhled na město. Já si zde uvědomil opravdovou rozlohu Rijádu.
Doporučuji ponořit se do historie Rijádu v Al Masmak Palace Museum, zasazeném v historickém centru města. Nedaleko se nachází mešita Imam Turki bin Abdullah Grand Mosque a trh Dirah Abaya Market.
Vydejte se na kulturní cestu průzkumem mešity Al Rajhi Mosque s bezplatnou prohlídkou. Navštívil jsem také mešitu King Khalid Grand Mosque. Nicméně pro mě bylo třešničkou na dortu Národní muzeum, nabízející fascinující pohled do historie Saúdské Arábie a islámu s hlavní částí vyprávějící o cestě proroka Mohameda z Mekky do Médiny.
Nevynechejte ani návštěvu hisotirckého města park Al Bujairi Heritage Park, památku UNESCO, poskytující pohled do minulosti uprostřed se rozvíjejícího okolí. Naopak park King Abdullah Park nabízí více klidu, i když zvláštní je, že se zde platí vstupné.
