@@Maschine_Elf I live in apartment and I'm still afraid to try this because my neighbors can probably hear me through the floors. Then we'll leave our units at the same time and they'll be like "there he is, there's the weirdo sounding like a dying cat in his apartment!" I don't think I can scream anyway because my voice is too deep and inflexible.
If anyone is having a hard time with this, I have tip that helped me start to make this sounds. Try singing the word "across" in your head voice and then add compression with your diaphram by by doing that "huh" sound he talked about in step 1. And then like he said, in the place where your uvula would bounce, your voice should start to break up a bit. Play around with the sensation till you feel all of the resonance focused there. At least thats how I found it but it still took me a long ass time. If it starts to hurt even a little bit, stop and try again the next day. Hope this can help someone.

So, it seems.. alot of us probably don't do alot of screaming in general. but if you ever recall a time when you did, you know how you got a weird itchy feeling in your throat? and it kind of tasted weird? whatever that is, that's what you're suppose to use for this. One day when i felt it again i decided to not care if it hurt and tried it. So you hold your vocal cords closed, clench with your stomach, and as you let air start to pass through again, you wanna do your whisper voice but also try and let the air flow through the part lower in your throat that hurts when you scream. It worked for me, and then my voice was messed up for like 2 days. After letting it rest and trying more, i got to more accurately control it and not hurt myself anymore. So now i can finally do the voice, but i still suck at it so i gotta keep practicing.

Some steps are shown with mistakes. And while doing this steps, an average person is likely to make a lot of mistakes that will lead to problems with vocal chords.

Great lesson! As a guitar player I really never wanted to do vocals because I dont like being tied to a mic on stage. Recently I decided to try singing so I could start songwriting and adding vocals to my tracks. This lesson really helped me, you explain very well. Thanks!!! ☯️🙏
Man the internet is great. A thought occurs to me and 2secs later I'm watching an excellent video on how to scream which this gentleman has taken the time to make. Thank you. I can think of no negative aspects of the internet right now.
Przemysław Jakóbczyk ehm you really think that girls cant scream? Maybe you should listen some music ahah A girl that can scream is better than a male.
This is legit the best video on how to fry scream ever. After watching this, within maybe 2 days I could scream (not perfect but with practice it will be), I have been trying for 8 months and nothing great came of it but this video was great. 2 days guys just 2 days of practice. Thanks bro much love
Great vid. very helpful. You are the first person i've heard speak from obvious experience about how using this technique incorrectly can affect your pitch afterwards.
Tea is really bad to drink while vocalizing, it saps water out of your system and dehydrates you. Even worse if it's the kind of tea that has caffeine like black teas and green teas, because caffeine fucks with the muscles in the throat. Water water water. That's all you should be drinking.
Dude I love this video thank you so much. Only tried it for two or three minutes and I’m coughing up a lung so that’s it for today 😂. Finally on my way to becoming the world’s first screaming country singer!!🤘🏼🤠
been tearing up my throat trying to perform this technique for about 18 months now. I'm not totally certain I have it yet, but I think you showed me the light, brother!!
Luke Man Hopefully I can share the relief. Been trying to learn fry for 8 years to no avail. Eight years of trial and hard failure with zero improvement.
damn dude. I can say that my technique has changed slightly since I made the post. recently I stopped using any voice in it. just try to make noise with out talking. if you press your fingers to your ear drums you can hear very clearly when you're just making noise and when you're voice starts to creep into it. just be patient and keep your voice out of it.
I remembered I used to go to performances like "You won't let me scream". The most best moments is when I could scream while getting a golden buzzer. I immediate felt the attention when I just let out my mood and felt free to scream when everyone was so proud and gave the golden buzzer at that moment. It was life changing. Everyone should feel free to scream and let it out and then get the attention. It isn't fair when people are being forced to shut up everyday when they even try to scream. We are making these concerts and performances life changing and letting everyone feel free to let out their mood and scream. Everyone should be free to scream.
Marge Simpson voice is the ultimate exercise. I lost my voice from being in an edgy grindcore band when I was in hs. Now I can only do belt yells/screams and have to use my nasal muscles to create the shake. Idk if thats even exactly the thing that is doing it but I know this. If you don’t know how to sing. Be careful, you can do serious damage to your vocal chords as well as your lungs. As it almost comes naturally to use your rib muscles at first. I sound like an old man lol.

The best scream tutorial on CZcams. No long talking bullshit, just straight to the steps and demonstrations. Thanks bro.
Some steps are shown with mistakes. And while doing this steps, an average person is likely to make a lot of mistakes that will lead to problems with vocal chords.

How I’m I supposed to scream without my parents and neighbors running towards me???
“daa-*AAAAAAAAAAAAARK* “
whoaaaaa my body picked up on these techniques just by mimicking you, including rolling my r’s which I’ve struggled with for years ! thank you!
Thank you so much for your advice. This video is the reason I can scream to some of my favorite songs. Really appreciate it bro.
Asthmatic people: *"NO"*

Me: *try to metal scream*

Too late my siblings did
Say "Get out my room I'm playing minecraft" while doing it
This is the best basic tutorial I've seen. Great job thank you

Finally a real tutorial simple and usefull!
Przemysław Jakóbczyk ehm you really think that girls cant scream?
Maybe you should listen some music ahah
A girl that can scream is better than a male.
+Przemysław Jakóbczyk Dorosnij Cebulko xD
So cute
Przemysław Jakóbczyk shes already dead
+Shary \mm/ :D
Instructions unclear, i sounded like a cat dying😂
Then shit you might do a pretty descent whistle fry screams probably.
Wtf 😂😂😭💀💀 i tried. Now im drinking tea trying to fix what i have done😭😭💀💀
Tea is really bad to drink while vocalizing, it saps water out of your system and dehydrates you. Even worse if it's the kind of tea that has caffeine like black teas and green teas, because caffeine fucks with the muscles in the throat. Water water water. That's all you should be drinking.
@@veryopen-mindedperson5276 do not listen to this person, ashley, alcohol is horrid for the cords
haha yeah
czcams.com/video/cenB-5eC4mM/video.html here another scream lesson in just 30 days.

Thanks buddy Rock on!!!!
Thank you very much for helping!
been tearing up my throat trying to perform this technique for about 18 months now.
IF ONLY YOU COULD HEAR THE SOUNDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF ME RN
Thanks for the tips!!
I sound like an old man lol.
czcams.com/video/X_5xEGFWpZo/video.html "You can check by yourself how Matt Heafy learns to scream correctly, he shows how he practices his warm-ups, in here there is a masterclass recording he took with Ron Anderson

Miscia Aishi D. Tarlit Just say youll vacuum or some shit if you get to listen to music, I find that screaming along to songs with screaming in them also helps greatly.
