Remember the pandemic not over, the stem dry and the discoloration of the side resting, on the ground determine pumpkin is fit same goes for watermelons harvesting, weeding maintenance is important for sun light to filter stay encourage Jess.

Hi Farmer Girl Jessie Blessings😀⛩️ thank you for for Farming so we won't go hungry, the thing is the Farmers do all the hard work and the retailers make more than the Farmers. But you are going to be rewarded by God 🙏
One good thing is Al increase comes from God you put seeds in the ground
and you water the seeds God do the rest
I just love Farmers, I trust you will get a
good price for all your crop
God Bless you your family and your workers you give away alot I admire you
You have a good heart
Love and Blessings ❤️🙏💕🙏🙌
Pure love ❤❤🙏🙏
Jessie your Pumpkins look great i hope you will sell them all. Have a Bless day.
Hi farmer girl jessy, when ever the leaf above the pumkim stem is change to yellow or dry, you know your pumkin is ready.👍🏾👍🏾🙏
Sometimes coffee , sometimes tea sometimes none at all . Give thanks Jessie and stay bless.
If you don't know please Google to find out information on your pumpkins. Know when its the best time to plant , know how to care for them and when it is time to reap. The reason your workers are not listening to you is you are asking too many questions acting as if you don't know what you are doing. The workers will lead when there is no leadership. Great harvest! !!Keep it up!!!!!
Hail up Jesse, proud of you 👏
Remember don't break the stem out.👍😀💞💃💃💃🥳
This is joy of planting,
Hi farmer girl Jessie best thing to do is to move the bushes from over the pumkin so they can get the sunlight when the sun comes out if the bush is over and the rain is falling they will all roth
@@normamoulton4346 That makes perfect sense.👍🏼💯🇯🇲

Pumpkins are ready when the tendril (the spring looking thing) attached to it dries up. This never fails me. And yes, you have so many different types of pumpkins. Don't break the stem. A pumpkin can store well up to 6 months if the stem is left in. If you are worried about selling them all, you can harvest and store. They refer to pumpkins as winter squash in the North because they harvest them in summer, store and eat them in winter. I've stored intact pumpkins for months in Jamaica and when I cut it, it's like it was picked yesterday. The flavour also gets sweeter with storage.
❤❤
You’re speaking facts. My Mom plant pumpkin one time and I don’t remember what happened and she picked the pumpkins gave away some and kept one for a couple of months before she cut it.
You said it perfectly
Wow… that’s good information. I’d love to grow pumpkin….🌺
You did well girl, stay positive.
I must say that you have some lovely pumpkins.
When the stem dont have have on the the small fine hair around the stem it is ready.
The rain spoil some of mine to especially the big ones them easy to spoil u can pick the pumpkin and put them on pallet board and it will stay there and drain out and get dry dont felt them out in the rain.
You did a great job I love pumpkin pie 🥧😍
Jessie, ask Fire Ried to tell you the different type of pumpkins and there names, okay...BLESSINGS Continually 😀👍💞🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹
Jessie I'm so very proud of you as a young female farmer. Your pickers were very helpful, but please remind them to control the swearing especially while you're recording. Congratulations on your achievements and pray that sales went well. Much blessings 👏👏👍👍
Well done for true for such an achievement Jessie. I wanted to share this video with people I know, but unfortunately can't do so with the swearing; such a shame. JA people need to know you need to limit your swearing on your CZcams videos, or you will be limiting more international Subscribers.

FARMER GIRL JESSIC- I'M FROM THE US, AND ALL THE PUMPKINS I SEEN,WAS THE COLOR ORANGE- NEVER SEEN GREEN,OR GREEN AND WHITE STRIPED PUMPKINS- BEFORE,SO THANKS SHOWING ME THERE'S MORE THAN ONE KIND OF PUMPKIN!
Wow am happy I could show you my production thanks alot
awesome Jessie. They say when the curly tendrils closest to the fruit is brown then its ready. You are doing great!1
its a good look jessie and crew
Jessie, it's not about the overall look of the pumpkin to know when it's full, but one should look at the stem & the "cork screen". When the stem has started to turn yellow or already yellow, it's full & when the "cork screw" has started to turn dry or already dry, then it's full. Have a good day !!
Wow I'm inspired well done
Jessie, remember you have different types of pumpkins, colors and shapes, my grandmother teach me that.
Thanks for the encouragement, I needed it
Thank you hun
Hard-working lady I love you girl
CONGRATULATIONS on your journey...PRAYERS Continually...💞💏💃😀

Good job girl, keep it up. You can make pumpkin punch too. It really taste great
Looking good Jessie, you’re the real deal.
Good attitude. Positivity is the key. We thank God for the bumper harvest. Praying that the market will smile on you!!!
Never did like boiled pumpkin as a child, just watching you guys I could eat a piece with butter all over it. yum
With butter? I am from the heart of pumpkin farming in St. Elizabeth, but I never heard of one eating pumpkin with butter. Blessings to you anyway
Give it a try let me know .
@@maebell7515 Lol!
@Mae Bell please try to steam the pumpkin next time, also ripe plantain and you won’t need butter. Trust me
Amen jessie staying positive things will change💯 🙏👍
Those pumpkins look so good👍🏽
Love it..
You were right about the first pumpkin. It needed a few days more to a week or two before picking. Very impressive work. If only most people know the nutritious value and uses of pumpkin in various ways as in porridge, drinks, pudding rather than the ceremonious pepper pot as well as pumpkin soup. Respect🤜🏿🤛🏿.
Love the moon info
Farmer Jessei
When the punkin is fit you would know when the heart leaves nearest to the stems or dries up as long as the heart leaves is dried down it is fit and remember now pumpkin can also ripe when it is fit and take long to pick..hope this is help to you
Tiny and Pinky such cute pumpkin names. 🎃😊
Enjoying the pumpkin hunt
Farming pays off if you're interested I love that for my girl Jesse
Much love
You can build a place with bamboo and store the pumpkins for months as long as they are in a dry place. To tell when the pumpkins are ready, the leaves close to the stems are dried up.
Bless up yourself, Jessie. I want to visit your farm whenever I come back to ja.
This video was both entertaining & informative.. I have learnt alot about knowing when a pumpkin is ready to be harvest. 🎃🇯🇲👍🏼

Good morning Jessie
like I said, when the leaves close to the pumpkins turn yellow, to dry they are ready.
To maximise on production thou u gotta rid the field of the excess bush with your next crop
I usually use a stick to search the Bush for my pumpkins. Blessings
Reap the fitter ones and put them down to drain.
The price normally goes up by Sept October there about.
pumpkin can e stored for six months as long you dont break off the stem good job keep it up
Enjoyed the video thanks
Your land is so fertile, good for the plants that you want to grow but not so good for the weeds ! I love your accents guys and the way that you seem to enjoy working together. I've never eaten pumpkin although I think I've had pumpkin soup. All in all, it seems like a good crop. How were they planted ? there doesn't seem to be any drills / lines so it seems like a treasure hunt when harvesting them. Are there plants from previous crops mixed in there or are those just weeds ? Keep up the hard work and hang in there. Farming is a very un-certain industry, with prices fluctuating so much. Keep positive.
Blessings
Love your accent!!!
You doing great my irie friend, bruno I, jah love to you
