Wings mobility was fantastic but the increased hitbox was what brought it down for me

That is the problem of movility items, that some of them let the people run through excesive distances en seconds
Yup I'd always use them to jump into the next fight not for leaving a fight. I would only use them to leave a fight if I KNEW the enemy couldn't see me before I was able to fly away. Which didn't happen often.
Look for mobility the wings weren’t bad. It just had a handicap. it’s just a bit lesser because of the certain amount you’re allowed to use and everyone flying around at once. and the very little cool down.
no wings were awful against people with hands but if you did the jump dash thing with them then they were usable just you couldnt normally fly is the only issue

Also Chrom splashes are good, atleast decent to where it shouldn’t be on here Imo. You get smaller, you‘re fast and you can phase through stuff. And its fun to use

If you watched professional gameplay in chapter 5 season 2, you would know that the crash-pad jr. and the wings of Icarus, were really good.
wings of icarus were only good at the end of the season when it got shadow buffed
The problem with the CPJRs was that their existence was completely unnecessary. No one was complaining that the crash pads were too big and now with the shield bubble jrs it might mean that many other good items will be replaced with tiny counterparts

@@alfredo6391 I agree on the CPJR and I accidentally jump over it all the time but the Shield Bubble Jr. is perfectly sized to fit about one full Squad. I feel like the OG Shield Bubble always felt useless to me because it was too big and people 30m away could walk inside and shoot me. The Jr. size of it gives you controlled protection, which I like better personally. If they release a Shockwave Grenade Jr. however, I will be very upset.
100% agree on the wings of Icarus, when they were first out in the season, they were the best mobility item ever, but after a few days, people found out that you could blast people out of the sky and they were terrible, I would pick up shockwaves instead, most of the time
Crash pad jr is good, because it’s smaller to shoot out, and it’s good because you could use it with flowberry and shockwaves, while also stopping the exploits with the regular crash pad.
BTW the wings got a secrete buff at the end of last season that makes it grant no fall damage when you cancel the animation. Watch last seasons fncs it got abused

Another item that should've been mentioned was the grapple glider. Gliding with it was so slow and the range was so low on it that it was just terrible, making it one of the most forgettable items of all time.
5:25 I think that crashpad jr is much better than the regular crashpad. Not because of the arguments you said but because it send you much further and you can control the direction you want to go so much better while the regular crashpad is more like just going up and going a bit forward into a direction

The chrome splashes weren’t amazing, but they were absolutely necessary for end games. I always carried them for rotates, so for that reason. I think it shouldn’t be on a “worst mobility items” list
I disagree with the jet pack because they buffed in chapter 2 Season 3 to where you could shoot and ADS and it was way better and it felt faster and it was like that in Fortnite OG as well so I don’t feel like it was still bad I felt like it got better
I feel like the crash pad jr is actually good and better than crash pads. You go way farther horizontally and it’s smaller so no one can shoot it as fast. I think you should’ve put crash pads here instead.
Balloons not being on this list is crazy
One thing I will say is that the jet pack plus the drum shotty was such a powerful combo in zero build for chapter 3 season 2 and the last week of Fortnite OG it made it hard for your opponent to hit you all the while spamming an incredibly annoying shotgun to deal with.
Shopping cart brings back so many memories, man, I miss those simple times. Shame it was basically disabled for like a week or more when it released.
Personally, I liked the wings, it was fantastic in builds and in spots where you could cancel the flight animation it was amazing in ZB for combat, it just sucked for running away from people.
when I used the wings I usually put my camera upright and used R1 dash or L1 to go faster as well as making me harder to kill

Jet packs were only good when the Io blimps were in the game. Before or after that, it was useless. The only time it would be useful is when your trapped in 0 build, but simply don’t get yourself in that situation and your good.

You can shoot while using the jetpack. And in fact, if you aim while midair, you can hold forward, backwards, or sideways to move a bit faster while aiming down. Granted only talking because of creative, but still
you could shoot while in the air with the chapter 3 season 2 version of the jetpack and it was an OP meta with the drum shotty in ZB
I would change the Chrome for the Grapple Blade, It was too slow, It didn't have a long range and left you very exposed and in danger in the middle of a battle, The Chrome at least was faster and allowed you to cross walls and dodge bullets easily
Wings of Icarus are amazing for the pros, but for new players who don’t know how to use it, it was terrible.
Only person I saw who really pulled the jetpack off was Tfue.

The funniest thing theyve done was vault shockwave grenades and unvault impulse grenades people were so used to shocks they would throw impulses on their feet after getting boxed it was pathetic , this game is at its best when shockwaves dont exist
Tbh, this is a really good tierlist , the wings are good for moving but the Problem with the hitbox was really Bad so or was really not good anymore, also nice Video , Keep up the good work

Shopping cart with minigun really covered distance. At the cost of small-ammo and ability to move direction as it only kinda went just straight
crash pad jr. is better than the OG crash pad because of it's height, it makes it possible to setup the tac-sprint trick.

Personally I must say: yes, the normal jetpack was really bad until they buffed and reworked it during chapter 3 season 2; since then it‘s actually really solid
But the mandalorian and Ironman Jetpack are both not
