Thank you for a great craft fair item. Last week I registered for a last minute church bazaar and spent the week making 20 prayer journals. They were a hit! The best seller of the day. People loved them.❤ I sold 12 of them!! One lady brought 3 as gifts. Crafters I highly recommend putting these journals on you to do list for you next fair. Thanks Deanna, you always have great projects and you instructions clear and easy to follow. ❤👍🏾

TY Deanna- for a great idea for prayer journals/ fair show items. Cannot believe they are $1!! I want to make these & sell them & donate the $$ to the church , for their new playground. I also make cards, decoupage shells & crochet. I'm thankful that I have a variety of crafts , but also its sometimes hard to focus on one project . LOL. You gave me an uncomplicated way to create journals & I love that- and I can combine it with my stamping/ papercraft materials..And I do LOVE the mat- I agree- the glass mat works in theory- but for videos..I also have silicone mats- I use the shiny (reverse) side- and nothing/ glue/ ink/ acrylic sticks to it- just wipe it clean.
For anyone who can't hear the audio, I just closed out the CZcams app on my phone and opened it again and it worked! Hope it works for you, too.
Quick update on the success of these prayer journals. Last week I took them to a craft baazar at a local church, thinking these will be another big hit. Wrong! I didnt sell one 🤣!! This week I had a show at a big sport arena and they were a top seller! All shows are different, so never get up on an item. If it does not sell at one place it will at another. Thanks again Deanne for one of many of your great projects. Love you and your channel.

That is the truth about shows- sometimes items that are themed certain colors- will sell better- I would try to anticipate trends or see what is selling for others vendors- sometimes it is hard- to make enough sales to cover the cost of the space ..So Good for you- for working with your items.

I bought a few journals like that last year, but they have a Christmas/winter theme on them. Going to see if I can wrap around the back cover piece, and make them spring/summer journals for upcoming craft fairs.

Hi Deanna, I have a lot of these books and make sweet little journals out of, but I never thought about prayer journals. What a great idea! Did you make the verses for the front of the journals yourself, or did you find them on Cricut?

So are these title cards, on the covers, cut vinyl mounted on plain cardstock backgrounds? Or can you print Design Space images?

If you still want to know - the glue is by Art Glitter (Art Glitter Glue, the pink one) and a lot of scrapbookers use it (no glitter inside! just the name!) the metal tip ist optional, but I highly recommend this extra 😊 My favourite glue for papercrafting and worth every penny!
