I try to make everything work correctly, but make mistakes here and there, and I'm highlighting a couple small ones and the quick solutions. Clay Kemp has a great instructional video on the NEXT GEN chassis, but he didn't catch this oops either ,but watch his video for great assembly tips • BUILDING A NASCAR NEXT...

I don't know Jim! To make mistakes and then own up to them! Then you offer solutions. I may have to reconsider my club membership in 10 years or so. Take care. 🙂
They are still AWESOME kits!!!!!
You're the ONLY kit company doing this Jim! In days of yore, the issue would be half-heartedly fixed and the company would move on without a word. Salvinos helps with a fix, and SHOWS everyone! Stellar business model.
thanks my friend!
@@salvinosjrmodels I'm behind you all the way Jim! That way if we have to turn and run, I'll be out front! 😇
Thanks Jim!!👍👍
Ain’t no thang! ✌🏼
Thanks for the tips, Jim!
Thanks For The Head's Ups Jim👍👍 God Bless You Fellow Human 😊😊.
Well done, Jim. Good to step up on these oopses.
Thanks Pat!
Thx for the info! I’ll correct the firewall
On the Plymouth holes. I had not noticed a problem. Still looks good where they are.
The videos you do are great and I’m so amazed and appreciative of the way you’re so open to customers, more companies should note.
Now, about the kits coming to England :)
Keep up the great work
Thanks Sarah-Jane, I'll get after our international distributor!
Thanks for the tips Im gonna build up my roadrunner kit just got the paint from mcw.
Thanks Jim. I just finished the Roadrunner and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. But I made it fit so it's cool. I just trimmed the end tips of the horseshoe piece and made it fit.
Thank you Jim! We wouldn't get this type of info from other manufacturers!
Thanks for the heads up.
On the rear parts for the nexgen. I just thought it was a very tight fit. I will try sanding a little off on my next one. As I will also try out your jig you sent me.
Still the best model kit on the market today.
Love watching jim explain his kits.😊
Nice tips on the two issues with the kits. Those things happen on occasion. When you design something mistakes happen. But, that is part of modeling. Thanks for sharing.
The Road Runner adjustment answers my question. Thanks for the information Jim 😎👍
Glad to help!
Very cool of you to show the issues and how to fix them and taken care of the next run very stand up of you and the company.
👍👍👍👍
Quick and easy fix thanks for letting us know you guys are great 👍
Good products, good follow up, good solutions. I only wish you could consider stepping out of the box and looking at a Pro-Mod project. Clay Kemp knows a thing or two about those as well, maybe a collaborative effort?
Agreed, NHRA are on my wish list, but give us some more time
🤓👍
Just got my first Salvinos kit, the Ross Chastain car. Building it to donate to my local Moose lodge. Really wish you would put your thought and quality into some street car kits.
Thank you Sweetie! we have been focusing on the long neglected NASCAR kit hobby and hopefully will do NHRA and Indy eventually, but there are already so many companies doing street cars, I don't think that side of the hobby needs us
good info! Thanks for being open, honest and transparent about your products! Are you going to release any more NextGen Mustangs, or just stick to the Penske cars? And......any plans to produce a CoT car?
not sure when the next mustang will come out, and don't hold your breath for a CoT
Hey quick question for you is there an race team hauler in works that would be a great addition to your new nascar's an think they would sell out I know I would want a couple for the Ross car chase car
Beautiful kits and I appreciate everything you guys are doing but those next-gen kits are over details if they were a little more simplified they'd be much more enjoyable to build. I would like one of those next-gen kits but it's way too much detail for my taste.
I understand Joseph, but we had such a great opportunity on the NEXT GEN to add in so much detail that I even had to leave off some! You can leave out the internal bumpers and much of the motor/ intake and just build a curbside; Luca Cee and I were discussing how this almost two separate kits, he's going to build a chassis just to display on its own.
Hi Jim. I live in the UK and have some of your next gen Camaros. I have been trying to contact you about a warped windscreen for my Camaro. Are you able to supply another one please. Thank you Simon Collins
Simon, email doug@salvino.us and he'll take care of you!
I’m not sure , I have the 22 zl1 , two modified and two more on the way 86 monte and 81 Buick. Just working on the 22 zl1 body slightly tweaked hood same chassis as well. Not a huge deal as once roll cage and are together and matched with chassis “should square up” i thought these were top o the line kits, or it could be just me
yes, but the underwing is a large flat piece with little to keep it flat and they do warp some as the plastic cools, but they do straighten out easily without hot water or a hair dryer, and if you mess it up while straightening it out, contact doug@salvino.us and he will replace the part
@@salvinosjrmodels OK I sent them an email from their website yesterday as I got one of the 86 Monte Carlo’s in and the bumper was missing some plastic where it connects to the body. Hopefully they get it because I couldn’t send them pictures via the way you contact them so we’ll see.

I have a problem with your wes modifieds
The bodies are wrong for the different modified models.
I just purchased the matt hurseman mod and the kit has the wrong body
The body that should be in the kit is the troyer body with the slanted rear panel
Please make different combo body kits and even older body mods .
I already have at least 12 mod kits
contact Wes, that's all his
@salvinosjrmodels I thought you were the same .
Very nice nascar Olds model
@@robertnussberger6449 I designed it so that the window opening could be ground out to the way that different drivers have theirs, but if your driver needs a higher side wall, you'll need to add some styrene. Remember, many model kits are generic, and specific body work may have to be altered by the builder - it's part of modelling
@salvinosjrmodels I still love the kit
I have about 15 of them
Maybe you could make a kit with multiple bodies like the show stopper kit
Also have you considered a late model or older coupe modified
The kits are just so awesome
