I feel so bad for the guy on the right, you can tell that his heart isn't really buying the pastors explanations but since he is the leader in the religion he is going along with it as he must be right. After converting over to Islam from Buddhism 5 years ago, I finally started reading the Quran with all the intentions, real intentions of my heart. After listening to much scholarly debates of different religions, I honestly feel I have made the right choice with Islam. If everyone else look and listen at scholars debate their religion, you would learn very fast on what Holy book have been kept the same with no contradictions. God is perfect with no contradictions. His message should not have contradictions because he is all knowing and holy and perfect.

Mary coverd herself like muslim women. Both bible and quran preach about oneness of god but you guys worship three(holy trinity). Bible describes god as omnipotent but you limit him saying that god died on a cross and also by saying that in order for god to forgive humans he needed to kill his son. Bible Book of Numbers 23:19 and Hosea 11:9 clearly show that God is not man, while Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible as in Matthew 16:27, John 8:40, Acts 2:22, Acts 17:31 and Timothy 2:5. Bible also says that God is not a son of man as in Numbers 23:19(See KJV) while Jesus is often called a son of man as in Matthew 12:40, Matthew 16:27, Mark 2:10 and John 5:27. In Quran Surah Maidah 5:75, to assert that Jesus is not divine, God says that both Jesus and her mother used to eat which is a humanly trait. There are instances in bible pointing to the fact that Jesus used to eat, sleep and pray to God and also tempted by Satan/devil as is clear by Mark 14:17-18, Matthew 8:24-25, Luke 5:16 and Mark 1:13 respectively.
Study of Bible tells that Jesus never claimed divinity. There is not a single clear statement in the whole Bible where Jesus himself says that he is God people should worship him. In fact he preached quite the contrary as you can see in the below box that in John 14:28. John 10:29, Matthew 12:28 and Acts 2:22 he is clearly saying that that God is greater than Jesus and explained his miracles as the power of the One True God.
Further I put the last verse John 20:17 in Bible section(Box) below to refute any chance of claim that might arise in naive minds that why everywhere in Bible God is called as Father (Thus He must be a father of Jesus). Bible is full of such instances where God is called âFatherâ of other persons, People and nations as well. Also as you can see in John 20:17 where Jesus is saying âI am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your Godâ. Old Testament also has many such instances like Psalm 2:7 âI will proclaim the decree of the Lord: He said to me, âYou are my Son; today I have become your Father.â and as in Isaiah 64:8 â Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.â
Thus Father is actually a metaphor and not a proper name for God but one of many titles by which Jews speak of regarding God in a sense that God is âFatherâ to all humans because he created the world and in that sense âfatheredâ the world. Similarly expression âSon of Godâ only meant âServant of Godâ; one who is close and dear to God as a son is to his father and cannot be accepted literally because in Bible, God addresses many of his chosen servants as âsonâ and âsons as in Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers,for they will be called sons of God.â and in Deuteronomy 14:1 âYou are the children of the Lord your God.â
I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. 1 Timothy 2:9-10

Really don't know why the pastor turned it into a comparison between the Bible and the Qur'an. On one hand you have the book that was never changed throughout the history, and on the other you have a book that was changed many times throughout the history.
And by the way every prophet was the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: the WAY to God, the TRUTH revealed from God through the holy spirit and the eternal LIFE in paradise achieved by following the prophet.
I saw his reaction in his body language while watching... he was fidgety, leg rocking (impatience), and at times his mouth was moving as if he was saying something to himself. Whereas the other guy sat perfectly still.

Apart from that, I'm not Christian, but i have to ask, if the Bible is not the words of god, a history book, or scientific book, or any what the priest mentioned, how is it that you refer to it so much when you know that ultimately, it's just the the word of man (divinely inspired or not), your trust needs to be based on trusting the all the ones that wrote it along with the one that edited it, in order for it to be able to use it as proof, and for you to convince people, the same is needed (here im saying convince not believe)

The Qurâan has also been translated, but our book is still preserved. God will hold you accountable. How did you leave a preserved book? It contains miracles that science only recently discovered, which is the Qurâan, and I followed a distorted book in the Council of Nicaea. Look up my words if you don't believe me

What is amazing to me watching this pastor react to the Quran and to profit Muhammad's name being in the Bible, is how he's only prepared to refute and deflect or compare the Bible to the Quran, when there is absolutely no comparison between them. He never goes into all the evidence, proof, but picks up the Bible and starts attempting give the Bible glory. Very sad. The Bible was written then pulled apart and rewritten by men. The Quran was recited by the angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad and then to the Believers. These are two totally different references or Revelations. Quran is the final revelation and people better pick it up and try and find out who Allah really is. Before the hell fire.

I do think the Pastor's point about it not being about comparison is off. To be able to understand the miracle of the greatness of the Qur'an, you'd have to compare it to other books. You cannot know what a straight line is, if you don't know what's a crooked line. He also stated that the Bible is not a book of history, mathematics or science, and yes that is true, but because the Qu'ran is all of these amazing things at once while providing immense accuracy is another reason why it's special and stands out so much.
We the Muslims appreciate the pastor trying to challenge Islam. In fact, the glorious Qurâan tells its readers to research and use their reasoning, their learnt people in their communities to challenge the authenticity of each surah in Qurâan. What this priest does not understand is that Muslims are the only ones in the world beside the Christians who believe that the Bible is the book of the Creator, so the presence of prophecies in the Bible is something that does not bother us and does not prove anything new because we believe that the Bible is the word of God, but we believe that the Bible has been distorted by priests and this is something known to Christians before Muslims
You can watch Sheikh Othman bin Al-Farouq or read the books of Ahmed Deedat and you will find many contradictions in the Bible
Therefore, Christians cannot distinguish between right and wrong, due to the large number of distortions in the Bible

Bible also says that God is not a son of man as in Numbers 23:19(See KJV) while Jesus is often called a son of man as in Matthew 12:40, Matthew 16:27, Mark 2:10 and John 5:27. In Quran Surah Maidah 5:75, to assert that Jesus is not divine, God says that both Jesus and her mother used to eat which is a humanly trait. There are instances in bible pointing to the fact that Jesus used to eat, sleep and pray to God and also tempted by Satan/devil as is clear by Mark 14:17-18, Matthew 8:24-25, Luke 5:16 and Mark 1:13 respectively.
Study of Bible tells that Jesus never claimed divinity. There is not a single clear statement in the whole Bible where Jesus himself says that he is God people should worship him. In fact he preached quite the contrary as you can see in the below box that in John 14:28. John 10:29, Matthew 12:28 and Acts 2:22 he is clearly saying that that God is greater than Jesus and explained his miracles as the power of the One True God.
Further I put the last verse John 20:17 in Bible section(Box) below to refute any chance of claim that might arise in naive minds that why everywhere in Bible God is called as Father (Thus He must be a father of Jesus). Bible is full of such instances where God is called âFatherâ of other persons, People and nations as well. Also as you can see in John 20:17 where Jesus is saying âI am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your Godâ. Old Testament also has many such instances like Psalm 2:7 âI will proclaim the decree of the Lord: He said to me, âYou are my Son; today I have become your Father.â and as in Isaiah 64:8 â Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.â
Thus Father is actually a metaphor and not a proper name for God but one of many titles by which Jews speak of regarding God in a sense that God is âFatherâ to all humans because he created the world and in that sense âfatheredâ the world. Similarly expression âSon of Godâ only meant âServant of Godâ; one who is close and dear to God as a son is to his father and cannot be accepted literally because in Bible, God addresses many of his chosen servants as âsonâ and âsons as in Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers,for they will be called sons of God.â and in Deuteronomy 14:1 âYou are the children of the Lord your God.â

Allah said in the Quran ch:3 verse:70-72, 1) O followers of the book! Why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah while you witness them. 2) O followers of the book! Why do you confound the truth with falsehood and hide the truth while you know? 3) and a party of d followers of the book say, Avow believe in that which has being revealed to those who believe, in the first part of the day, and disbelieve at the end of it, perhaps they go back on their religion.

Pastor is a nice guy. He is a pastor of course he will cling to his believe and defend it, in a way as a pastor, that is his responsibility to his people.
He is respectful and for me in turn he is very respectable person. Lets just see what allah plans for both of you.
One thing i would say though, if you losing believe in what you used to believe, i mean in Christianity, don't feel sad or lose hope but continue and ask god for guidance because god allah already said if you look for him he will meet you in the middle of your way.

The book has passed by the translation âwhich loses the book its digital structure.â It has passed from the event of removing very strong verses and parts of the Bible and putting them in crayons that they pass on to them in secret, changing the locations of words to be misunderstood, additions from human speech. With this, people will have only one choice, the Qurâan, show me your reflection
