Thank you so much...i found a grouping of the graves in a local Graveyard...im interested in information in the Organization as well as the WOW...woodsman of the world...im looking at all graveyards in my state to find more...there also was a Mason area and Veterans of Spanish American War

I'm a brother in the Orange Order,Royal Arch Purple Chapter and a Sir Knight in the Royal Black Institution but not a Freemason etc. The orders that I am a member of are all Protestant in nature and candidates have to be Protestants. I also confer all the degrees in these orders ie Orange Order 2 degrees, Royal Arch Purple Chapter 1 degree and Royal Black Institution 11 degrees. I know that all theses orders including the ones mentioned in the video are very similar in emblems and "secrets" eg a 3 stepped ladder representing faith,hope and charity feature in the
Royal Arch Purple degree and Black Sir Knights wear blue aprons with a compass and square with the letter G in the centre. I'd love to join the Oddfellows but their are no lodges over here in Northern Ireland where I live and even in Scotland and England alot of Oddfellows lodges/branches have changed into Friendly Societies without degrees and regalia.

Sounds like a hocus pocus conspiracy theory to me. I saw a guy try to do one about Masons. He was so way off it was laughable.

Yes they have Virginia chapters, but this one was in Columbus GA.

There is not much differences, but their qualifications to join can vary by jurisdiction.

Your missing alot look up the ioof orphanage this huge beautiful place that's falling apart but it has so much history used to have trains that brought orphans there had there own school dentists and all

33rd is a Scottish Rite degree. The fastest that can happen in GA is about 9 years. Other statess may differ.
awesome. I've always been interested in oddfellows. I may know a lodge member or two that are members. They rivaled us in numbers at one point in the US. much respect...would love to know more

Well my Dad was a Mason,& an Oddfellow. I have vague understanding of it's functions, & intents. My own travel thru life has been a bit wild so I wasn't a person for organizations like your good one. I respect ,& honor the Oddfellows, & Masons.
