I used a Link end for my trailer tongue and a metal link/shock ball end with a stainless bolt and nut through the stock Axial bumper/hitch I had. It's plastic and had a hitch ball molded onto it, but I ground it off and drilled a hole through the flat base. Give better pivot angle going over an obstacle.
One of THE most heavy duty trailer I have seen. Great suspension setup!!
what a nice Trailer, well done
Joe did a amazing job hand making the trailer love it
I've watche this video alot. Great work from Rude Boyz! I'm currently working on my own home-made trailer for the Speed Rustler project. Great video!
Love the simplicity of the hitch think ill lend it
you should put a winch on the front to pull the trucks onto the trailer
That's sweet ! It looks so real and scale . I love your vids , can't wait to see you pull up to the mud hole with your mud truck on the trailer and rip it up
Yeah love it, I bought on eBay a used trailer, looks like this one
blown away with rude boys craftmanship
Love the trailer. The connection to the hitch does not look like it would have much articulation left and right if you were to pull on uneven terrain. I do like the idea of a winch on the front of the trailer to pull broken vehicles on with. Great videos.
I know this is a old video but that is a nice trailer medic. Paint job sure makes it look professional. XD I'm jelly.
Absolutely beautiful!!!!
I use a Ball Joint and End link for my trailer. Easy Snap on Snap off. It's not bad especially if you use a 1/8th or bigger scale ball join and end link, They're a bit bigger and can handle more abuse when pulling a trailer! I did however have it pop off one time which was amusing not having the tow chains hooked up. watching it roll back down the hill and eventually flip over with my rig on there was amusing.
cant wait to see it in action
This video gave me such a good idea of the size of these trucks, thanks medic :)
That is AWESOME, would look super sweet with some of the old Tamiya Chevy S10 tires.
That is nice!!! I am fixing to make a trailer myself actually.
wow wow wow!!! that it sweeeeett!!!!
Hi um tried the link box you put in the corner but it says the video isnt there love the trailer and the hitches their AWRSOME they out did them selves with that its great look forward to seeing it in your adventures
Oh man that is so cool!
always enjoy your videos, Iam die hard nitro guy, but watching you guys in the trails has me thinking a trail machine would be nice in the winters, the new wraith. keep up the good work.
That is super cool!
I'm looking to build a tri axle trailer to haul 2 1/10 trucks. I was considering the goose neck style. And a 5th wheel. Any help would be great. Rude boys did some nice work!
ok...THAT IS SICK!!
Great video I'm just in the process of building my rc trailer and hope it turns out as good as yours
I like that wooden finish.
Great trailer man. Looks awesome. The rude boyz look to have made you a great quality product. Hope to see it more in your videos and later on.
That thing is awsome!
Wow just wow
that really is a very good looking trailer man!!! already seen the bumper, now the trailer, that Krazy joe friend of yours really has some skills ;-) give him my regards for the great work he´s done. show us more :-))
Looks cool
i think thats a great touch with beaver/dove tail
That's amazing
@djmedic2008 dude this is amazing. With especially with the tow package for the frame!! It's brilliant. The other day I was thinkin about makin one and drew up a plan but this trailor set up blows it out the water. Well done !
Pure awesome work bro.
I have made a trailer for my rc rock crawler .still got to make lift jack .tie downs and ramps.mine has crawler suspension
it would be epic if i could get one like that for my summit
Do you know what steering knuckle I need for Everest 10
that's an awesome trailer! looking forward to seeing a strapped-down truck on that trailer!
oh, btw, a very respectable beard growth recently! :D
That is a cool trailer. I've never heard it called a beaver tail I kind of like that description. I think I'll use it if you don't mind. We call them dovetails where I'm from. Do u think people around here will look at me crazy when I say beavertail? Lol..
MEDiC this is AMAZING. I built a caravan for my Honcho, need a trailer now so I can pull the CF100 or my drifter :-) Hope you don't mind I sent a video response of my caravan. Great work can't wait to see it on the trails.
Don;t forget everyone head over the the RCSparks website - you will love it.
RCSparks Rocks!
Cool... a pintal hitch setup would be sweet that way the trailer could move in three
directions
Sweet !
What is a good trailer ti haul a slash with
really awesome!
love your videos
just sick
nice trailer...i plan to make something similar and would like to know something. what are the leaf springs made of..
thanks,
drew
Future of this project
Perfect
awesome Beardage!
Man I have used the emaxx tie rod ends and the ball on a 3 mm screw and looks just like a real ball and pops off and on
The only thing I can see popping up is when the truck and trailer are at angles the collar might want to bind. You may need to use a small sloppy collar.
Great trailer and hitch. Looks nice!
You should somehow use a tie rod end to give you up, down and side to side bind free movement.
Very cool trailer btw
thats cool i build trailers to im 13 and i just finished my raceing trailer for my losi strike brushless
love it
Where do you get the axals and leaf springs for this, Im looking in to possibly doing a truck and trailer project.
and on the rear so when the truck is pulling and stuck u can winch it back and chose another line☺☺
hey medic you kept saying they.. when you were taulking about the reciever and and the 2 hitches.. who made those for you?can u pls reply thanks
i was wondering how wide is the bed of this trailer? from the outside wheel to outside wheel of the truck i want to haul on the trailer I would need 11.5 inches. This is would have a bit of space on either side for loading
Did krazy Joe make the hitch to Medic? Please tell me because i want to make a trailer and that hitch is really really cool.
hi , really it's very good job, congratulations, nice!!!
cool stuff
hum, i do not know, but i think that i would of used a screw with a shoulder. just to insure that you do not like strip the threads on the screw.... now i am not one that knows any thing about RC's. although i am thinking about getting in to them. just saying is all. maybe it is a good idea, and then maybe it isn't.
Hey Medic, would you know where a newb could get some detailed info on building axles for a custom trailer? I am attempting to build my own, but i'm really struggling with how the axles should be properly designed and assembled. I heard you say the axles are fit with bearings, so measurements must have been tight. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated. cheers.
Just wondering, since it has been a while.
Did this hitch system of yours survive the first hill it went over?
As it looks like it will only rotate in that one direction...
HanZie82 I believe it did
where did you get your tow hitch for over kill?
I need a Trailer myself, I just bought a Axial SCX-10 Dingo and looking to upgrade already...
COOL
@djmedic2008 i know this may sound dumb but how are the axels attached to the trailer???
Nice, wish i was as talented as you.
That is so nice!! i think you should of used 1.55 tires. just cause if you think about it if you used a super scale truck like no lift, you would probably have 1.55 tires and so i think the trailer would've been more scale with 1.55's just an opinion but it looks so sick as is! i like the pine? i think you said so shiny!
Cool
awesome trailer. brake lights would make it that much better.
dj medic can you show me how did they connect the wheels with the rods.
Where did you get all these cool cars.?!!?
you could use a black permanant marker to cover metal,so it looks better ,and wont give you any problems getting them in...just sayin
sweet
how does is the bearing's held in side the axles like you were talking about I am trying to make a trailer and that's the thing I cant figure out is where the bearings are held and is the old axles and how did he do the shafts inside the axles did he use a threaded shaft going all the way threw the axle or did he us a solid metal shaft and use a tap and make his own threads?
Do you have any running footage yet? Great job rude boyz
Beautiful, nicely !!! I think a Tig Welder is the works!
is that a over deck suspention or if it isnt can you tell me
im building a camping trailer and lookin for axles for it its 26" long aand 14 1/4 wide ,10 1/4 hight if u have any idea where i could get some axles please write back
We're did you get that and do they do boat trailers
Hey do you now where to get a 5 wheel hitch I really need one

Where did you get your dingo is there a website I could buy a dingo and can a dingo run on a 6 sell battery
I have a trailer I just need a hitch. How much wood it be? The truck is a scx10.
I cant find where to order a trailer. I went to the site. Just seen a review on it
You guys build some epic stuff great job
For your hitch why don't you use a closed turn buckle and its pretty close to scale ball n tongue. Thanks for the vid made a replica of rude boyz
how much is that trailer cause ive been looking but i havent been able to find anything
hey medic can you please tell me what the dimensions are for the trailer and also what size metal and type used to make the trailer? please reply back thanks
