Rated grinded AJ Hunter for 5 years straight (as a crim main), when 3.0 came, he made sure to keep his spot as a Trooper since he did put the work for it in the whole 2.0 era, he dropped custom made missions for CG just to play as AJ Hunter. Rated actually cared for his Trooper job in SASP. I remember him not being part of the Ferrari mission just to play as AJ Hunter and let another CG member to be part of it, that mission had 2 parts and he couldn't being part of any of them just because they wanted Rated to play more AJ.
Dam I didn't expect soze to deny AJ, he's arguably the best cop on the force in terms of all his skills. It's just odd that the only criteria to getting hired these days is being around.

Koil did this with aj in 2.0. Toyed with him for weeks and he also wouldnt let him join rangers. But in the end aj will be trooper unless he actually makes ranger this time.
The real test of the trooper standards will come when Andrews logs on for one of his 3 yearly visits. Surly his inactivity also means he can't be a trooper either right? But I have a feeling we'll never see Andrews in anything other than a trooper uniform
Tbh, AJ should just join the rangers. They want him and he’ll be happier there. Troopers are a shell of what they once were due to some questionable troopers (Rhodes) and not valuing their all stars (Copper, Snow, AJ).

He will get hired eventually but not so much first pick that it feels like people want him to be. Would you really be confident hiring someone who could disappear tomorrow. Yes there’s no doubting he was brilliant in 2.0 but so was the 2.0 avengers. But not so much in 3.0.
