When a free unreal engine sample project has better parkour than the latest Assassins Creed games, how wild is that? Indie devs have the power to make legitimately better games than anything in the AAA industry these days. Instead of hoping for a good game and being disappointed, make your own dream game. Wow thats so cool. I am a web developer who just wants to learn a low level language like C++ by making games so that learning is fun but this is wild. Maybe I can really make a little game myself now with all these animations and assets being out already so I dont have to learn all of that.
I am interested in how this could be ported and added to the Lyra game Hero Character. I know you have explored Lyra quite a bit. Would you be interested in tackling this and posting a video on the topic?
Hi, I've migrated the project files from Dynamic Wall Run czcams.com/video/sJUMDcvUsNY/video.htmlsi=58n2aVyIvLEv383v and Advanced Locomotion System into this project but don't know how to link all of the blueprints etc together, any idea how to achieve this? If so could you possibly make a tutorial?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Yes, but not so easy, they said in the livestream that the project could not be fully replicated without changing the character movement component(C++) to fully replicate the acceleration, not only the movement. They also said that Fortnite and other multiplayer games all do this change in order to work properly.
Don't expect to have 500 different animations, most of them are just variations on the start or end feet. Despite that, the sample project is interesting
