Hello! Cool video! Loved how you broke down the format of this edition. I wanted to say that I opened up my copy of All Star to tell you if these problems appear in other editions. I own the hardcover Deluxe Edition. 1. For that particular page the text bubble does go into the spine a bit so you’ll have to move a bit to read the bubble a bit clearer. 2. When it comes to the text bubble of the future Superman, his words are typed smaller and are in white on a light blue bubble. Its readable but you still have to focus on it a bit more. 3. The text bubble are super small in the part with the guy with the binoculars. I think the issue with the compact version is that because the paper is smaller, the smaller text are significantly more smaller. Despite the Deluxe Edition’s bigger paper I still find the small text requiring more focus.
@@GraphicPolicy yeah it sounds like it. I also wonder if paper quality plays a role in it because these smaller editions don’t look as clear as the larger formats.
Good point, IMO for these compact editions white margins/frames should have been reduce to the max level, making them super thin, I don't think this would have been too sacrilege, when in the end reader gets to see more of the art and slightly bigger text as well.
I guarantee DC didn’t even preview these they just made them smaller and release hahah that speech bubble one would’ve def been fixed had someone gone through. Excited to pick these up not deal breaker issues at all!

There's nothing that's been a deal breaker so far with any I've read.

All star Superman is the best graphic novel in my opinion. I recommend reading in absolute or deluxe edition format
