I love that you made your trainer speak positive words over himself. I have a second job in retail and women say negative things about themselves ALL THE TIME. And I never know how to combat that with something encouraging beyond “I disagree and don’t think that’s true” or bringing myself “down to their level” by putting myself down in an attempt to make them feel not alone. But that’s not good either so I’m going to start doing what you made him do!
