So, in my community post about what you'd all like to see to celebrate 10 years of Transmissions, an atmospheric reimagining of Antigravity ended up getting more requests than anything else. So, voila! The celebration of Transmissions will continue with more Transmissions remixes/reimaginings. Thanks, all!
Transmissions 10 years?! No way... It was so long ago...
I heard Halo - years ago - and told my spouse that if the next song I selected from this artist (Starset) was good, I'd purchase the vinyl.
The next song I heard was Antigravity. I haven't stopped attending their concerts since that day.
Really has been a decade since they started. Found them by It has begun, had no idea they were the authors until I found die for you in Vessels. Stuck around since then.
Thanks for the vid, gave me a little more calm and clarity in my life, dad just recently passed.
Either way, cheers mate. To the future.
Thanks for the awesome comment, I appreciate it a ton. Always happy to help in any way I can, and my condolences for your loss. We’ll do our best to keep looking forward. Cheers to the future.🍻
@@FireflyProductions Aye, thanks for the support man. Just keep doing your thing and I’ll keep tuning in, or so I hope. Fighting my battles and I hope I’ll come out alive.
Perhaps let it die next?
Yesss, I love that Let It Die. That has some great potential for a reimagining, I’ll doodle around with that idea for sure.
I woke up at just the right time today to be blessed with this masterpiece. Amazing work.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks very much! :D
Manifest next? I love these so much
Thank you! That’s a really interesting idea, I can definitely give Manifest a shot, I have a couple ideas already.
@@FireflyProductions bett!!😍
3 minute instrumental outro? Nice! Very fitting for the song with one of the longest piano solos of any Starset creation. (Rise and Fall wants to know your location.)
Thanks so much, glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun with that outro, I really love making orchestral stuff. (Don’t tell Rise And Fall where I am, it gets all screamy when we talk.)
@@FireflyProductions Haha, guess I won't then! Keep up the great work!
Could you do a reimagining of telescope?
Great suggestion! I love that one, that definitely has potential for a beautiful reimagining.
You gotta do Telescope next if you already haven't, it would be too perfect
For sure! Telescope is definitely one I’m going to do, several people have asked for it.
AYOOOO HE DID IT
HE HECKIN DID IT :D
3k soon, you deserve it!
AAAAAAAA THANK YOU! I honestly can't believe that many people actually subscribed to me, lmao.
unironically incredible
Thanks so much, that’s such a huge compliment.
Thank you to your dedication to this band and their amazing music! I have one request - would it be possible to also publish the instrumental versions alongside the original remixed version? Would be much appreciated if they can be made available to enjoy as a standalone piece as well.
Thanks for the great feedback, I appreciate it. And I can definitely do that, sure, I’ve done that once before. I think I posted the instrumental version of the Icarus reimagining, if I’m not mistaken, so I’m happy to do it again if that’s something you’d like to hear.
Actually really well done my dude. The softer vocals were a great choice, gave a really chilling presence... But in a good way. Also the longer outro here fits very well altough is 3 minutes long, but don't you think i didn't realized that the second part of the outro was the outro melody of Disappear. :D i was like "nice very good Melody! " , then realized it's the same. Anyways, sorry for the long opinion, great reimagining overall. 😄
Many thanks, very happy to hear you liked it! :D :D Starset fans are always really good at catching the little easter eggs and callbacks I hide in my remixes. Can't hide anything from you guys, lol. No apology necessary, thanks for leaving such a great comment!
This was really good!
Love all your work!!
Thank you so much! :D
Banger
Thank you! :D
How did you get the vocals so soft? Is it edited from the original audio or is there an acoustic version somewhere?
Ah, I really wish there was an acoustic version, lol. The vocals are created via Dreamtonics, so it’s not Dustin Bates singing in this one; it’s basically just a cover song, at this stage.
@@FireflyProductions There's the Daytrotter sessions version of Antigravity, you can find it by searching "Starset - Antigravity (Acoustic Studio Version)" on YT, by Alseg (Cant find any official uploads. but there are other acoustic/studio versions of their songs in their "Daytrotter Sessions").
Regardless, I think you still produced quite the masterpiece from what you had! I really cant put into words just how beautiful this Atmospheric Reimagining is, I just needed to close my eyes and let myself 'fall away'. Truly a transcendental experience, bravo, and encore!
@@FireflyProductions There's an acoustic/studio version they did for their Daytrotter sessions, There's no official video of it that I could find on YT, but a channel named AlSeg has the track posted on their YT channel. Still, this was a truly amazing and beautiful reimagining, bravo and encore!
I hadn't heard of the Daytrotter Sessions before, that's intriguing. You're right, it was the first thing that came up when I copy/pasted your suggested query into the search bar. I definitely am going to listen to it when I get off of work.
And many thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it! That's a humongous compliment; I'm just grateful I have a platform to share what I do, and that people like to listen to it, so thanks for your support, and for letting me know about the Daytrotter Sessions! :D
