    In this video, I go into more detail on the anatomy of the frontal lobe, and the functions of the various regions in the frontal lobe. I define gyri and sulci, and even show a video of someone with Broca's aphasia, which shows how damage to Broca's Motor Speech area results in speech problems.
    Enjoy!

    @RorySmith1990 Hi! Thank you for watching our videos. Glad you liked them :) Leslie might or might not add more videos on the limbic system anytime soon. But, he is adding more videos to the site from time to time. So, please stay tuned!

    I found this clip very helpful.
    I really liked the clip of the person with aphasia- it's the first time I have heard a speech by a person who suffers from damage to Broca's area and it turned the theory into a real experience. Thank you!!

    Such an informative video. Thank you. It will help me greatly when I go to see my friend this week in hospital and knowing what questions to ask the doctors.

    Thank you so much for your videos. I find these videos very helpful. Especially how you break down complicated things such as brain anatomy and action potential etc into such easy chunks. :) Just wondering if you are goin to do a video on the limbic system anytime? Its the part that im struggling to understand most at the moment.

  • @RedOak5ix
    @RedOak5ix Před 11 lety

    Thank you very much. The part on the Brocas was interesting indeed. But the vid didn't answer the question why the man did suffer from speach-depression? Is there a possibility to temporally block the signals to the broca's with central stimulants or alcohol, is this the reason why our ability to speak goes weak after too much vine?

  • @magihypnotisthannibalbey1755

    Peace Cherub Interactive Biology. Thank you for this video as explaining what area of the brain that deals with speech. As you can see by my Avatar and channel name, that I am a Magi Hypnotist. I been doing research on what areas of the mind/brain to focus on, to help aid in speech recovery. It’s a personal matter to me, because I have a family member who had a Stroke back in 2014. I’m making my own hypnosis scripts to program my subjects to make a speedy recovery.
    Blessings to from the Magi Hypnotist in the East. 🇲🇦🇺🇸🙏🏾

      How is that sad? A game led to a bunch of people seeking out biology info, isn't that a good thing? The sad part is that modern education systems lack a method of competently engaging students such that they retain the information and are invested in what they're learning. I don't blame people for zoning out while reading a textbook or hearing a lecture, and it's no surprise that something as interesting as gaming was what drove people to learn more.

    ok, i may have minor brain damage....but did you take a short "root toot toot" smoke break? at 5:50 til 8:00 ? seems like enough time to hit that peace pipe a bit, before you go reading off your notes and back on track right? and showing us a boring but interesting 2 minutes,( i watched all of it)... but your main VIDEO i got 3 things out of it...#1 you were high most of the time making this video. #2 you put that 2 minute video in there to secretly laugh at any moron stays the full 2 minutes of it, while being high making the video.oh and #3 i know where my minor damages are from my injury i took thanks for that...:D
