Why? Based on an concocted narrative the right has been pushing? ABC only cancelled Last Man Standing because of how they wanted their line up and ratings. Tim has been a part of the Disney family since Disney gave him his first TV series - Home Improvement. They know who he is and how he votes. They have not only used him three "Toy Story" movies, but three "Santa Claus" movies, the "Shaggy Dog" and countless Toy Story videos, rides and games. He is a valued member of the Disney family.
Sal S Well, even if the Last Man Standing incident was politically motivated, Tim is fortunate to be associated so closely with Disney. They’ve made him a very wealthy man. I doubt he despises Disney all that much.
Jen Babe who cancels their top rated comedy? ABC took a political interest over a financial one. Why was he shocked by the news like everyone else? Because it made no sense. Disney along with Hollywood has pushed a hard left agenda for several years now. Something that they didn't do 25 years ago when Tim Allen got his start. I'm not going to have this conversation with you because you've already made up your mind and you're not going to change my mind on this so have a good day.
