Liverpool have good creativity and passing although I do agree that they need to work on positioning and defense. The biggest problem I see though is their inability to finish clear cut chances, so I think that should be their biggest focus

There's no point having forwards who can't score. Nunez's inconsistency brings chaos to the whole squad. Better get rid of him. And Salah is clearly past his prime.

Except xavi’s decision to announce it actually help barca at it galvanized the entire team into giving it all since they were barely in contention for anything by that point. Meanwhile klopp was leading the table then and was still in prime position to win all three cups, his announcement and such only sent the players into holiday mode. If anything this is quite similar to when sir alex ferguson made announcement of his retirement plan in the middle of 2001/02 season and from that point man utd’s season literally collapsed

Never seen such a pathetic end of season collapse. Some of the players have said they are playing badly because Klopp is leaving. Without being too dramatic, they play for the club not Klopp. And I've been around for 12 titles......and 30 years of hurt😢. Not seen much effort and fight; and we have played our 2 most bitter rivals in the last few weeks. And not given much at all.

It hurts , it really does hurt and as die heart fans we supposed to feel frustrated and disappointed with our teams performance it's normal. But guys let's admit it nobody really knew we will be title contenders and even emerge as favourites at some point to win the league at the beginning of the season. Reading comments on people blaming Salah is only because of the very highh standards he set for himself but if U look at his stats you can't really say he had a bad season but by his standards he did has had a bad season, Nunez has had his best season at Liverpool with respect to stats and team contributions. Let's stay inclined in what we know best which is supporting our club, let's do analysis on the players without destroying their confidence, let's regroup and think of finishing strong because we are Liverpool and that means more 🙌, let's not forget our song " We are Loyal supporters and we come Liverpool! Let's just concede that the midfield rebuild was just so we can secure Champions League football next season. The fact that we were firmly in the title race and leading the table for long periods until a few weeks ago is an unexpected bonus. We just ran out of steam at the end. We're too wasteful at the front. Goal scoring requires sense and intelligence. The reason Ronaldo and Messi do not miss chances easily is because they don't just shoot at a given chance. They apply wisdom and sense in shooting and that is what makes them outstanding.
Nunez and Diaz should learn the sense and wisdom of scoring goals. They shouldn't just be shooting anyhow or just because they got a chance. They must place the ball with wisdom and some sense. Better still, they can leave.😠

Captain Chaos Nunez - Mahn, I was so excited for this fella. i would defend him in all the trash talks but I'm sorry to say I'm giving up.. trust me I have a better first touch, he can't control a pass, no flair at all, can't make a turn without falling, and don't get me started on his hit and hope shots.. Imagine where we would be if he only converted half of his misses.. Isak, joao Pedro, Wilson would have been a better and cheaper option with epl experience
Unfortunately, that match showed that Liverpool is not the team which can win title. Not this season. The next coach should definitely add new players in the squad. We need 2 center backs (both right and left footed), 1 defensive midfielder, 1 offensive midfielder, 1 wing as Mo Salah substitution and 1 striker as Darwin Nunez competitor.
i think you guys are doing amazing compared to how you finished last season and also with the injuries. The only problem is Klopp is leaving which makes it like liverpool have to win the league no matter what and that is putting alot of pressures. Its still a good season to be honest

Could it be his announcement actually made the team choke rather than fight harder? I think he should’ve made the decision private with the managers/owners of the club and kept everyone believing he was fighting as hard as he could. Rather make the announcement once the title race is settled.

We saw the team motivated after the announcement, but motivation isn’t permanent so we dropped off very quickly, but we needed that motivation especially towards the end of the season.
