About American Dad:

I been realized seasons ago Haley is more like Stan. For godsakes she married a male Francine. I know many ppl don’t think Haley is Stan’s but they have been showing us she is. Haley is just like Stan with bacon bits of Francine . Personally I think her character became a 100 times better since they moved to TBS

It’s pretty interesting how often parallels are drawn between Jeff and Francine in the show. They’re also a good comedic duo!
Oh I loved their episode together when Jeff takes Francine out for dinner for Stan, and it just keeps escalating.

It's theorized every man seeks to marry a woman sharing the same qualities as the female caretaker whom was most prominent in his life, usually the mother. So of course he'd find it cool, learning his wife will be like Francine.
Originally, Klaus was going to be French, and named François. When Dee Bradley Baker auditioned, he told the producers that his French wasn't very good, and that he would read the lines in German instead, they liked his performance so much, they retooled him so he was German.

I think they made Klaus nicer too just to fit Dee Bradley Baker’s personality. I remember him being eviler in the first season and even getting Roger hurt on more then one occasion.

I've always thought Hayley was a lot like Stan, despite their political beliefs, they are both insistant, passionate, out spoken on their beliefs, both of them have great situation awareness (more stan when it comes to his CIA work), both can be rude and insulting and very, very stubborn.
Well Hayley is more masculine than Steve ever will be. So maybe Steve will become Francine.

@TAVARIOUS POWELL It’s ironic after all the outcry to revive Family Guy, it only had a few good seasons before going downhill. American Dad started off very underrated but now it’s in its 18th season and still making great episodes regularly.

It’s really great. Especially considering how much American Dad got bashed as just being a Family Guy clone when it first came out.
Here it is 18 seasons in and still producing terrific episodes on a regular basis while Family Guy peaked shortly after its revival.

Who knows, Hayley was originally Stan’s antagonist in early episodes.

In Francine's case, it's more because Francine has unresolved issues with her own mother that affect her own relationship with Hayley.
@@Shuyin781 it's actually what I love about this show throughout the years. Each character has grown where they can be paired up with anyone and it will be different and work. Like for example a Roger and Steve episode will be way different than a Roger and Francine episode. And way different than a Steve and Francine episode. It great how they did that. honestly at this point this show should be called family guy
@@kinglegault but, imo, some pairing are funnier than others, who can be downright creepy.
For example, a Francine-Steve pairing will turn around Francine's obsession to keep Steve as her little baby.
Roger is also so versatile that he can be paired with anyone and anything and still be hilarious.
Plus, some extremely funny characters or pairing have been abandoned when the show switched to tbs, and stopped doing political humour.
Which is a bad choice imho

This show is brilliant.
Haley is stubborn in her beliefs, lives her life contradicting her parents while admiring them, married a blonde himbo. Stan is all those things. Haley knows best, but Stan also knows best. Stan is an American stud. And Haley is an American bombshell. Haley is a natural leader, and Stan is also very commanding in his presence. She literally is her dad as a woman. In the episode where it turns out she might not be his daughter, I actually thought that made sense. A lot of adopted kids lean into the personality of their parents to forge their identities. It's not farfetched.
For everyone asking this is the newest season, and new episodes come out on Monday (16 eps so far)
