      @@CJKnowsTECH Legion Go. For me its the true iPad Pro killer. With power saving mode on, and controllers remove, its gives me 5-7 hours of productive time. I have not touched my iPad Pro since i purchased the Legion Go. Mainly because it runs a full Desktop Windows 11. The iPadOS is the main bottle neck (and frustration) of some iPad Pro users, which, in my one month of use, Legion Go almost instantly became my laptop replacement (and to think Ive been trying to convince myself for many years that the iPad can be a laptop replacement with an M1 chip, which unfortunately, even with M4s, its not gonna happen).

    Many don't realize it yet, but the Legion Go is actually an iPad Pro Killer when in tablet mode, and with power saving mode enabled. It runs a full desktop Windows 11 OS that lasts between 5 - 7 hours on regular use (typing documents, doing research, checking emails, writing computer programs, editing and rendering video snippets, and creating infographic designs using Adobe fireworks) It being a handheld game for me is just a bonus. I came to realize this when I noticed I haven't used my iPad Pro for an entire month since I bought the Legion Go. As a matter of fact, I don't even bring my laptop to work either. Nowadays, I just carry the Legion Go (without the controllers) and a Microsoft Folding keyboard and Microsoft Arc Mouse to get the job done. And for some people who asks if you can draw with it using a stylus, yeah, I got a Wacom stylus as well which is a good counterpart of the apple pencil. Believe it or not, comparing the cost of this device with all the accessories I bought, it is still waaay cheaper than a 1TB iPad Pro (apple pencil and magic keyboard not included)

    I got the ally x I tried the legion go for a bit. I do like the portability of the ally x and the battery life. The screen on the go is incredible. My recommendation is if you don't have a gaming PC, get the Go as it has great performance and a brilliant screen. If you do have a gaming PC, I'd get th ally x as you're gaming PC screen is likely going to be better than the screen on a handheld. And your use case will probably be to beat and finish as many games portably. Just my thoughts. Can't go wrong with either!

I think the 2nd one through will have the 2nd gen of the AMD z-extreme apu which only improves the cpu side of the chip. The third gen z apu, according to AMD's timeline, will improve the gpu side of the chip improving from the 780m graphics. Which i think is the one I'm going to just end up waiting for. Tbh the lenovo bigger screen is a massive win for me, and having a track pad is perfect for a OSRS player like me, plus the weight isn't a problem for me anymore because the kick stand is universal, if you are sitting down you can have the kick stand out so you could have it support its own weight while you lay it on your lap, and reduce the weight on your arms to zero lol, but yea if you want to have it airborne then yes it will be heavy, but then you are just being dumb by not utilizing the kick stand. Also the battery life is also a stupid topic... because everywhere we go in 2024 you could 7/10 have it plugged in your car or hotel. I am a truck driver so this is zero issue for me when it comes to battery life, since when using it I am 9/10 have it plugged...

For health reasons I can’t sit on a chair after work for just playing so I use the handheld mostly at home and LeGo became a perfect substitute for Steamdeck in my case. Windows is the only way to play those triple A titles without out the headache of Linux trying to run them on low settings smh ...I don't complain about battery life when you can just charge up when you want to. The X is hands down superior! Loose wobble grips with way to many buttons. You basically needs to have a pillow under your arms or a table/desk . Its not so much the weight cause there close but the ergonomics/weight distribution. Also the vrr screen is a win also. Set fps to unlimited and turn off vsync and your gaining atleast 10 fps often more and it's smoother cause of the extra higher speed ram ! The go can also toast your bread with how inefficient the fans are ! Then theres the battery mic drop 😂

    I think whichever one you go with, you’ll be happy with it. Let’s face it, they really aren’t THAT much different. These videos try to make these differences much bigger than they are. However, that screen is a major difference…especially for older gamers or those who’s sight isn’t the best.
    I have the Legion Go, I love it. Just make sure you install the latest video drivers. I may also get the rog ally x when I see a deal. Or wait for the Legion Go 2. But, either way, you’re going to be happy either way you go.

      The Rog Ally X is an absolute no brainer, for someone like yourself. The 80watt battery can give you up to 3hrs of battery, if you set the tdp to 17watts, which is all you need tbh. Also, get a ugreen 130w power bank, which can literally give you a whole day of gameplay, if you’re on the go.

    • @mansoso3903
      @mansoso3903 Před 17 dny +1

      Also another thing is, the Rog ally having a smaller screen is a great advantage for a handheld, because you can set most games at 900p, and it’ll still look amazing whereas, the Legion go having a bigger screen, will mean having to set the games at a higher resolution, which means slower frame rate and top of this, it has a 40watt battery, which is way smaller than the Rog ally X

The higher resolution ( mostly 1200p for performance purposes) is really nice and doesn’t impact performance as you would think it would. In fact I was getting more frames at the same settings in most if not all the games in my collection. Also while nice, the VRR display is not the game changer you may think.
