Funny thing is, Eddy was left behind in Tekken 4 because Christie was originally going to be introduced in Tekken 3. Christie was the first design, then came Tiger Jackson, then Eddy Gordo who eventually made it together with Tiger. But Namco always wanted to use Christie more than Eddy, until further into the game where Eddy has a more prominent fanbase than Christie
Christie needs to come back with a re-vamped moveset, maybe a more feminine take on capoeira. If the devs can re-vamp former clone characters like Kunimitsu, Anna and Armor King, then there's no reason why they can't do the same for Christie.

I actually stop playing Tekken around T6 because I wasn't really feeling the backstory. Tekken 8 is how I got back into the game and I haven't stop playing it since I got it.
I wonder if eddy Gordo will a huge hatred towards Jin Kazama? Since he was responsible for not saving Eddy master life since he passed away due to his illness.
In Tekken 6, Christie's ending shows the moment she slapped Eddie in the face in a depressed state. The moment is that after the slap she hugged Eddie. And since she hugged it, it means there is a chance that she will appear in Tekken 8)
Dude that makes no sense. That ending like you said is from Tekken 6. And that was the conclusion to BOTH of their storylines. Eddy got used, and never got what he asked for in return. Christie’s Grandfather (Eddy’s Master) still ended up passing away. There was no happy ending for either character. That’s why Christie is not in Tekken 7 and Eddy’s role has been reduced. He doesn’t have a story to tell anymore, and Christie only barely had one. As you can see Eddy is DLC in tekken 8. That basically confirms no Christie unless she is a palette swap (which she isn’t)

Eddy's ending in tekken 7 was not canon, in the story of t8 eddy, he met kazuya and was beaten badly but was rescued by yoshimitsu when he was close to dying, there he reflects that taking revenge isnt his goal now but to protect, and thats how we see the new eddy of today
I _hate_ that they cut his dreads off and gave him the fcking Michael B Jordan Combover. Not every black video game character needs this hairstyle. There are other hairstyles 🤦🏾♂️

The canon outcome is that Eddy lost since the illustration shows she's serving Lucky Cloe on the official Tekken twitter account, but we still however need to wait for DLC so we can get the full story, seems though its going to be a Nina thing rather than a Kazuya thing.
