  • Reverse Judo Shrimp:
    1. Start laying on your back with your arms stretched straight over your head, and both legs straight out on the ground.
    2. Fold your body in half on your side, post the balls of your feet on the ground, and reach down to your feet with your hands.
    3. Lift your hips off the ground and bring your butt towards your feet as you throw your arms backwards over your head (as if throwing a sandbag over your head).
    4. Use the momentum to bring yourself back to a neutral position laying on your back with the balls of your feet on the ground close to your butt.
    5. Now shrimp back to the other side. Straighten your legs as you turn to the other side and reach out with the balls of both feet to “grab” the ground.
    6. Fold your body in half on your side, and reach down to your feet with your hands, keeping the balls of your feet posted on the ground.
    7. Lift your hips off the ground and bring your butt towards your feet as you throw your arms backwards over your head (as if throwing a sandbag over your head).
    8. Use the momentum to bring yourself back to a neutral position laying on your back with the balls of your feet on the ground close to your butt.
    9. Continue, swiveling your hips to one side and then the other.
