Bokuto was the true little giant. Hinata became his own player and learned the game his own way to become a player he could be proud of.
Beautiful analysis! If Tsuki didnt exist, Bokuto would be my favorite character in the series. The fact that we were able to see him be the best that there is in the series, while he was 'just a side character', is beautiful. Up until last pages, it sorta felt like you were part of Fukurodani's team watching how far did you ace went and how satisfying it felt witnessing and being part of his road. He was a beautifully handled character.

Youre not wrong at the end there, it sounds and feels like this entire time, Hinata wasnt just a decoy to his opponents but also to us, from becoming a "i wanna become the ace" player to someone who just wants to be a all rounded player, he said it himself, he has to be able to do everything. Bokuto has always been one of my Top 3 fav characters in Haikyuu and the manga only elevates it.
