  • Po čase tady máme opět nástroje od značky Squier. Telecaster Custom, který vám dnes představíme patří do široké série Vintage Modified a zaujal nás hlavně konfiguraci snímačů. Kombinace humbucker u krku a single-coil u kobylky není sice nic nového, ale častěji narazíte na klasiku v podobě dvou singlů. Tento Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom je konkrétně osazen u krku humbuckerem Wide Range a u kobylky Duncan Designed TE-101B Single-Coil snímačem.
    Kytaru zapůjčil hudební obchod Music City - www.music-city.cz/fender-squie...

    I bought one of these, gigged with it and was a great guitar on stage, beautiful tones and it stayed in tune! Only mod I did after I bought it was change the string nut to Nubone to replace the ssp string nut...... That's it, this is A LOT of guitar for a little money

      Well, Custom model is a bit cheaper. Classic Vibe is around 470-500€ and this VM Custom is around 375-400€.

    i'm considering to buy this guitar OR squier vintage modified 70s stratocaster. Which one is the best for R&B/Soul and groovy music? little bit confused...

  • @looniethemoonie5353
    @looniethemoonie5353 Před 6 lety

    Stupid question but, do you think i could put 13-56 strings on this without modding the nut?

    • @Hapax007
      @Hapax007 Před 5 lety

      Probably wouldn't have to modify the nut, but you may have to work on the intonation a bit. I think they set the intonation using 10-46 gauge strings.

    • @HRHMANSOUR
      @HRHMANSOUR Před 3 lety +1

      Question out of genuine interest.... Why 13-56 and not 9's or 10's ?

    • @looniethemoonie5353
      @looniethemoonie5353 Před 3 lety +1

      @@HRHMANSOUR I honestly don't remember my reasoning as to why lol. I think it had something to do with messing with odd tunings or something like that. Nowadays I run 10-46 almost exclusively (except on my basses of course).

  • @beefysinglecut
    @beefysinglecut Před 8 lety +6

    What a nice tone? Why basswood sounds so great in this video? :v

    • @battsy95
      @battsy95 Před 8 lety +16

      way of playing, amp, pickups and neck affect tone most. Body's wood is probably last on the list

    • @SwainBjornstrandt
      @SwainBjornstrandt Před 5 lety +3

      Basswood is a good and balanced tonewood contrary to the popular opinion. It is used in a a variety of high grade instruments, see surh and ibanez prestige. Vai satriani and petrucci also use it almost exclusively on their instruments. The only disadvantage it has, is that it is soft and your instrument might get dinged easier compared to alder/swamp ash. That said this guitar kicks ass. The neck has a nice finish too.

    • @HRHMANSOUR
      @HRHMANSOUR Před 3 lety

      Tonewood is a total myth. Go check out the guy who builds guitars out of concrete on youtube. There is no difference in sound to wood. The wood used only comes into play (and not by much) on acoustic guitars.

    • @HRHMANSOUR
      @HRHMANSOUR Před 3 lety +1

      You wont get tele tones from the deluxe, its just the tele shape as it has two humbuckers, you need the single coil for the classic tele tones, although after 5 years i guess you already decided lol
