As a Tokusatsu fan, I take that as a complaint because not even Kamen rider CGI is that good but just like Doctor Who it has effort and style.

I Loved this !!! Im 47, and if someone told me 20 years ago that the teenagers of 2015 would be falling in love with a new version of Doctor Who- I would have said they were crazy! Its wonderful to see this fantastic television tradition continue.... :)

For those who didn't want Peter Capaldi to be the next doctor because he's not young and attractive, that means that they weren't true fans of Doctor Who, theyr were groupies. The Reason why the 13th Doctor or Peter Capaldi is The new Doctor is because when the Timelords in the show gave him the regeneration energy it gave him a new regeneration cycle. So technically The kids theory was Correct, and it still is there will be 11 more Doctors according to the show now.
When he says that the doctor gets younger with each generation i think it is true. BUT this is a new regeneration cycle sooo

"I don't get this show, it doesn't make sense!" It actually does, it follows time travel mechanics and concepts and laws written by the writers of the show, you just have to think outside the box to understand the logic of it. The girl who said it doesn't make sense didn't bother to think.

But the original concept for the doctor, the casting for it... was a grumpy old man. He was known as "Grandfather" by his first companion.
Peter Capaldi was not just good... He was one of the greatest Doctors...
a lot of the time it is not graphics, but actual real puppets and things and when they do have graphics they are amazing. Doctor is an amazing timey wimey space and time travel science fiction show.

Turnt SNACO 9/10 of the good American TV shows aren't original.. They're based upon either books, movies, British TV shows or something else. And, British TV still have a tenth of the budget per episode that American TV have, and yet they're more popular in most cases.

I have honestly lost count of how many times I have watched all the seasons of Doctor Who and I still am not remotely tired of it. DW 4EVER.
I'm British and I LOVE Doctor Who, I didn't know it was that big in the US.
It kind of irritates me though how Doctor Who is available for Americans on Netflix but Supernatural isn't available on Netflix in the UK.
You guys should do Elder's react to Doctor Who. It would be cool to find out if any of them saw the originals, and what they think of the progression of the show over the years.

You should see how they improved on the Daleks, Dalek Sec, the Slitheen, the Judoon, and LOTS of other stuff in the 9th(Christopher Eccleston), 10th(David Tennant), and 11th(Matt Smith) Doctors! "Like Power Rangers"- Hah! Bad, indeed! Those visual effects were cutting-edge for their time!

ATTENTION: If you start watching doctor who, keep in mind you do not need to watch all 700 episodes. Most of those are from what we call Oldwho, and it is equally awesome, but not good for beginners. Beginners should start the show from its relaunch in 2005. The first few episodes are Korny, but are needed too establish premise plot and character. This series will make you fall in love, cry, feel awesome,cry, and fall in love, and cry again. Each season is a roller coaster that only gets better. DO NOT start in the middle of seasons or at a specific doctor like Matt smith. Start at the beginning of 2005s relaunch of the show, staring Christopher eccelston and Billie Piper. Enjoy!
