  • This video was taken at one of the most beautiful wedding's I have been to. Latu's sister Vai (introducing the the special performance & also a beautiful dancer herself), taught the bride-to-be Leitia, a traditional Samoan dance which Leitia then performed for her new husband with such elegance, beauty and grace. I loved every moment and wanted to share this with you all, enjoy........

So sad, regarding some comment. Give this pride a chance, she respects her husband culture, she did well cause she love her husband. Some of us are Samoan, but we can’t even dance including myself. Thais is the problem with some of our Samoan people, instead supporting our people and our culture, some of us always say bad comments. This is the reason why Samoan people never succeed in like because our people always jealous of one another. Which is so sad. Grow up it’s 2024. Be happy and always support and be proud of your culture l.

When I was in the military and stationed in Hawaii I had a room mate who was from American Samoa. . i would go with her to her Aunties house nearly ecery weekend . It was on the island of Oahu. There was always an event on the weekend , either a wedding or a birthday or something. They were 7 th day adventists and sabbath wouldstart on friday evening to Saturday evening. Sunday we would play volleyball and have an indoor potluck. I did not play
Even with the girls. They were almost like a professional team. I didnt want to get stomped! Lol. The Aloha Spirit in Hawaii is so ztrong and evidentiary in the Samoaan as well as the tongan and maouri , tahitian and other Pacific Islanders!!You could go over there and live free by sleeping on the beach, fishing
and eating what you caught, it is so wonderful, and the people are wonderful. If you have a friend there they would invite you to spend the night with them and their family. I miss it! Wish I was 45 years younger I would marry my Samoan boyfriend. Just my luck. Lol.....loved the dancing! Took me back. 💞💞💞💞

@@teatea1394what the fuck? 🤣 I am Samoan full blooded Samoan. I teach dances. So you are not familiar with our culture. No one lay down infront of the taupou or go near the taupou. That’s a new thing and a destruction for the taupou’s dance. And yes, my taupous do it cos there’s always an uncle or cousin that come n lay down for the taupou to put her leg on him. Which in our culture, it’s disrespectful.

Matuu Pulepule rhetorical question are u ok? Before you even confront me analyze my previous comment. In no way did i berate her in any way. Furthermore, i hadnt discriminate towards her in such meaning for your response. Next time stop yourself and think critically, before your intelligable remarks permeate onto the comment section, because of your mouth being left ajar.
