    Whoa. That was so dawn helpful. I was just pausing it, taking notes, then rewatching. I took almost two hours and NO I'm sure I wouldn't forget a thing about the integumentary system. You are a life saver!

    the difference in skin colour between dark skinned individuals and light skinned individuals is NOT due to the number of melanocytes ( they both contain the same amount) however is due to the level of melanocyte activity which is under hormonal control by MSH and ACTH.

      He is right. He mentions the melanosomes. "More melanosomes - more melanin". Nothing has been said about the number of melanocytes ;-)

    I just want to put it out there, that your videos have been a go-to for Bio 182/Bio 201/Chm 130. The way you explain information makes sense, and gives real context to subject being learned. There seems to be a disconnect when learning in class, as the information provided is typically fragmented and not connected to the greater whole. I assume it's due to the high volume of students and rapid succession of class after class. I'm grateful for the videos that you put out, they have helped greatly!
