- Hey Guys,
This is about basic of hydraulics video out of series of 16 videos we are going to publish. This animated videos are very easy to understand and will make hydraulics subject a piece of cake for mechanical engineers. This video explains on following topics in detail.
TABLE OF CONTENT :
----------------------------------------------------------------
1) Hydraulics defination
2) Pressure-Force-Area relationship
3) Pascal's Low
4) Hydraulic Press
5) Hydraulic Brake
6) Conservation of energy
----------------------------------------------------------------
Please subscribe the channel and hit like button If this video really helped you. Whole Hydraulic system design subject is going to be explained in this playlist so, make sure to follow us on Facebook and tweeter.

NOTE: It was part of my graduation study material and uploaded for educational purpose.
Doing hydraulics and pneumatics this semester, thank you for this! This will really help me!
Doing some advanced work for next semester. Thank you for uploading!
thank you i've been interested in how hydraulics work
Great videos!!
In the example in which the weights are moving, the force on the 100lb weight is equal to its gravity. So how is it moving up? Since the forces balance out, the 100lb weight should remain at rest. What is creating the extra force?
That's awesome nice videos
Thank you 👍
Very helpful video tutorial 👍
From Nick Ayivor from London England UK 🇬🇧
Thanks!
What do right angels have to do with anything if pressure transmits in all directions equally!
Just a review, does the first question of "If a force of 50LB acts on an area of 10 square inches, what is the resultant pressure?"
result in 5PSI?
Yes
Sadly, the "multiplication" of force does not create free energy as one might think. Instead, the smaller cylinder must move more volume (do more strokes) for the larger cylinder to move. Once again, speed lost for strength.
Thank you. I was confused

Thank you
I want to know if you can use one pump to lift a roof with 2 or 3 or 4 Hydraulic Rams, so that the roof raises evenly? I've seen how Air Bags work in a car and I like how you can use one pump to fill the air bags and because it's only one pump, you get even air distribution. Even Distribution means the car is self leveling and I'm pretty sure this system would be exactly the same with Hydraulic Rams raising a roof on an RV or a Caravan. The reason I ask is that I'd like to build my own Trailer, that has a roof which collapses / lowers so I can fit it in my garage when at home. The same principal for slide outs, I'd like to build the slide out with hydraulic rams and have the floors slide out evenly. Not sure if I will use Hydraulic Fluid Rams or Air Actuated Rams, but I'm trying to understand the basics.
do you already have a solution to your answer?
Nice video
Start music sequence let me think of "Alien" :-D
Good introduction to hydraulics :-)
Many thanks... :)
Sounded like the NES game XEXYZ!

very nice, I can injoy with you
Enjoy*
It was useful knowledge.
Thank you for showing interest in subject... :) Hope to see you again...
Sir please aur video lectures continuously chalye
can we get some experts in Puerto Rico
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
But when we apply Bernoulli equation , at a Venturi effect pipe , we get that the Pressure is Changing according to the velocity of the Fluid !!! So in larger areas lower will be the velocity , Higher will be the Pressure ! (Not Constante) . Can you explain to me if I'm wrong please ???
Daniel Y Pascale's law for static fluides only
nice tutorials, do you also have parts 12-16?
Erik Aagard Yes Erik, Sorry for delayed reply. I do have videos 12 to 16 but I was getting no time to share and upload due to other offline workload.;( .I am also having more on hydraulics which includes detailed explanation on pumps, valves and hydraulic system design concepts. So make sure to subscribe ;)
I have uploaded video no.12 please check.
fines
Is very nice
Thanks :)
can I purchase all 16 of your sessions on DVD
+Robert Miller You can use a program such as Free CZcams downloader to download the files from youtube and then burn them to a dvd yourself. If you are doinf dvd make sure the download is SD(480). BluRay you can use either SD or HD(720p+).

,,,,
Already the first first word after Hydraulics is misspelled. Is this supposed to be the definition of an educational video?
+MrCuddlyable3 I t is ass's like you that just look for what you can complain or bitch about such petty shit, maybe people should look at your stuff, oh wait, there is none!
Words spelled wrong ALWAYS mAkes me wonder what else the "author" got wrong.
Yes, this is the definition of an educational video. I came to learn about hydraulics, in which this video teaches. I don't know how you got here, but if you came to learn about English and how to spell words; You've clearly missed the mark.
