David Connaughton I have been on it you mug. And the last day I was there I managed to go on it around 9-10 times. Didn't feel any pain and neither did my friends we all thought it was smooth as can be. Great ride.
samiler 555 , Blackpool half owned the park, using the local government they gained full possession, took this ride and many other along with destroying the main one before abandoning the park, later most of the parks remaining things where destroyed by arsonists paid by large company's to get around land protection. Blackpool did this to destroy tourism in the town...
soulbrotherjimmy a good few, one burned the leftover wood after the demolition, another burned surrounding buildings, another burned the last original building, there was another *very* recently in the closed zoo... And that's just to name a few.
Blackpool pleasure beach well and truly killed Southport Pleasureland! It will never be the same again thanks to those sleezy gits. People are still upset now that it got stolen from us.
Well sorry, but those “sleezy gits” you speak of were my childhood and I have made a large amount of fond memories there, so Blackpool Pleasure Beach are not the “sleezy gits” you may think they are but they made a REALLY fair deal with Southport to take it away... besides it is better at Blackpool (my opinion). I know that you are stating you emotions and opinions but take a closer look at what’s really going on.
Blackpool ! Southport! Etc are not my cup of tea! However I'm from southport. And yes it is shit ! However Blackpool admits it's a candy floss town ! So you know what to expect ! Southport claims to be Alton towers with bells !! Run by bell ends ! Save you money and go camping to wales ;-)
I remember being on a school trip to Southport as a kid and seeing this in pieces on the nearby princes park when it was being built
