My dad and my sister saw one south of Bend, OR about 20 years ago. It suddenly ran across the road in front of their car, cleared the 2-lane highway in only a few steps and disappeared up the embankment on the other side. Startled both of them. My sister was afraid to drive that section of road for years afterward.

Did they happen to have any sort of concrete evidence of this sighting? While there is a possibility of them coming across a sasquatch, the probability of that being true is highly unlikely, especially since it has been several hundreds of years since the first time we have heard of claims like this and yet, none of us have any actual evidence of this being true. Following Occamâs Razor, it is more likely that they saw a different type of animal running across, such as a large bear for example, and that they just said they saw Big Foot in order to gain attention from it.

In the bigfoot video, when it turns to look back, look at how its right arm swings. Itâs such a natural, smooth motion and so perfectly fit with its overall manner of shifting weight. Iâve seen the video a number of times and always I feel doubtful and then my gut chills when I see that.
Iâm telling you, Patty is real. The biomechanics of that creature are insane. You can even see the muscles in her thighs and calves, and you see her toes curl upwards when she places her foot down. No suit can do that, even now, let alone 50+ years ago.

I LOVE videos like this. I have a relative whose field has him regularly in contact with big foot hunters. Heâs a skeptic more or less I think, but he adores the idea of big foot. His house has a 7-8 foot big foot statue out front of it XD.
This was a good fair and well researched video to us bigfoot believers, thank you very much
But it completely failed to deal with some of the major obstacles and gave the impression that the scientific community is divided on the issue, whereas it's pretty much Meldrum on his own. I can see why Bigfoot believers liked it, but as a scientific justification it was well short of convincing. For example, we know exactly what bears eat and when and where they go to find food, so if you want to find a bear, check the calendar and you'll know where to look, Bigfoot must eat the same things because in the Pacific Northwest there isn't any source of food that bears don't seek out, so why has no one ever come across a Bigfoot eating? It's practical things like that which are the giveaway. And isn't it strange that there is one category of professionals who have never, ever taken a photo or video of Bigfoot and that's professional wildlife photographers?

The only detail you missed is that people point to the almost perfect overlap of bear territory with Bigfoot sightings, skeptics say this means all bigfoot sightings are mis identification since bears can also walk up right for short periods of time. But that overlap of territory makes complete sense when you take into account that bear and Bigfoot would have extremely similar diet and caloric needs, so any area that can support bears will most likely also support Bigfoot. And I have three family members that swear theyâve seen it. So thereâs that.

It was filmed by a person in the entertainment industry not very far from LA, one of the only places back then that you could actually find an ape suit.
All he had to do was drive down to LA, rent or buy a suit from one of the hundreds of costume shops.

Aside from messing up Rodger Patterson's name, this video was GREAT. Everyone gets the facts all wrong, but you guys presented both sides of the scientific argument perfectly.
Iâm gonna be completely real with you my grandpa told me a story that his friend told him that scared the friend for life and this was in New Mexico July 1974 where my grandpas friend and his friend were out halling horses to different ranches and they heard the other day about a greyhound bus that has caught fire and had people so they decided to go by it and see if they had every one out and check out the damage but as they were coming up in the bus the horses started to get rowdy and they said âwhy are the horses acting up?â And in that moment they looked over and saw a 12 feet giant man looking monster that looks like a demon bear as what he described it and as they said that when they saw the creature have his arm looking over the bus and looking into the window,as soon as they saw it they zoomed right out of there and to this day my grandpa has his phone number and if you ask his friend what he saw that day he would say âMost people would here my story and think Iâm crazy and say if i go camping I would love to see a Bigfoot! But what I saw that day, i would NEVER want to see againâ

People saying that the guy hoaxed the Bigfoot prints with wooden cut outs is misinformative anti Sasquatch propaganda, if you strap what is effectively plywood snowshoes to your feet your not gonna create a print on the ground unless you were very very heavy or were walking in freshly tilled topsoil. Also we have to consider stride length which is conveniently not mentioned in that story

Try being frozen with pure fear of seeing something that most people say does not exist. The last thing you think of is snapping a photo. There are photos of these creatures made by actual researchers. Then again, I could care less if any photos show "proof" to the normies of the world, I know these beings are real.

Old newspaper reports are really interesting. Got the same description of the creature going back to the 1800s and turn of the 20th century. Also a lot in Australia. The footprints are pretty convincing in America. The legit tracks are duplicated with several hundred pounds behind them, making it hard to explain away so easy.
None of the casts Meldrum has looks like the print I saw in Divide, Co ... it was exactly like the 1951 Shipton Yeti print (but thinner across the width of the foot) with a "gorilla-like" big toe. It couldn't be mistaken for the "giant" human prints Meldrum has.

Did you guys even watch the video? Itâs impossible to create a suit that lifelike now, let alone in the mid 60s! Plus scientists tell us this creature has a longer torso than legs. Something not possible in humans.
Apparently you weren't paying attention to the video. It's NOT about just the height, it's the bizarre proportions and the unusual way the creature walked. No human has those proportions or can easily walk like that.

I was literally watching a video on Cryptozoology and then I get this for a notification
i had an encounter with something when i was 13 yrs old, i never really saw it because it was pitch black in the woods , but it was big and ran on two legs. when it took off through the woods you could here small dead trees crashing to the ground as it ran along. we slept in our tree house lol but it came back and circled for a long time. all i had to do was get up with a flashlight and have a look, but i was too terrified. i listened to it walk off just before sunrise.

Its actually pretty easy to tell if a footprint is a fake or not by examining the edge of the print. If it was made by a live being you can see evidence of the muscles in the foot doing their job as well as the weight of whoever (or whatever ) left it

@IRONHILLdwarf * while that is generally correct, grizzlies, like most bears, use bipedal movement when in a situation they deem very dangerous or when facing a large opponent they want to scare away (in this case it's the cars). My point was mainly that saying "7 foot tall...taller than any bear" toward the start of the video wasn't really correct in terms of their standing height.

@@samuraijose817 For me: 1) Historical record. Just in North America, every single tribe in the continent with suitable habitat has a creature like this in their folklore. Similar but with subtle regional variations. There are almost 600 tribes currently recognised. They had oral records, not written, so could someone have jumped on a horse an told campfire stories to every single tribe, across 25 million kilometres- given they were often at war over territory? Or is it more likely they are describing something they are actually interacting with?

It added some speed in the change over(coming in at 45-50 mph or more). That bear traded up.
