so i had a question about my vinyl records- so basically i have them in inner and outer sleeves and there is like a dust ring around the inner sleeve and when i take the artwork out it isn’t there it’s just in the inner sleeve. and my records aren’t stored tightly at all and aren’t in sunlight, is there a reading why this dust ring problem is happening. thank you!
Beautiful wood on the high end guitars but the bling inlays are over the top, like some kind of 60s rhinestone cowboy look. As for the HPL (basically Formica) in the less expensive (but not cheap) guitars with printed wood effect to make it appear to be wood when it's not is really nasty.
Shame on Martin for "printing fake grain" on their products now. How low can they go? Didn't they learn their lesson with the horrible corner & cost cutting striped rosewood fingerboards nobody bought and most dealers returned? 👎
So the grain printing is intentional. Its scans of some of their top tier custom shop models $10k plus replicated on modes under $800. They are upfront about what they are doing not trying to be deceitful at all. The remasters look real in person too. So those on a budget can get the looks of a custom shop for cheap.

A good quality three layer plywood using real wood laminate would be preferable. This is what most other decent factory guitar manufacturers use. It looks nice and performs well. If you're going to use plastic back and sides why not go the Ovation guitars route and make it a feature rather than disguising it with phoney wood print?
