One of the greatest moments of my life is when I shook the hand of this extraordinary Jamaican in Negril. He told me he had a son by the name of Clive too. A true perfectionist who didnt reap the fruits of his labour and production. I hope he was consoled to know the gave the world music to cherish forever. Check out his son Christopher Ellis. Same sound...same style. RIP brother Alton. You gave the world BIG music from little Jamaica!

Nice album but some of these tracks are not the originals or they are different mixes maybe later ones IE: track Aint that loving you and Get Ready (Should be titled Rock Steady ) they sound different to the old ones I have on 45's some of these sound too modern recordings or as I mentioned could have been re-recorded at a later date ,but still a nice album
