- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out now, and true to Respawn Entertainment's promises, it's a much bigger and denser game than its predecessor. From combat to exploration to the abilities that you have at your disposal, there's a lot more going on.
So to make your entry into Cal Kestis' sophomore outing a bit smoother, here, we've compiled a few handy pointers that you should keep in mind while you play the game. - Hry

For the first time yes but I think eventually playing in highest difficulty on the ng+ is also fun
@G NOTE yh sure u can we all have our kinks and dats why I gave souls series a try to test my masochist mind,assuming ur also a fellow masochist.but I think new player can take it easy by starting with easy and a bit experienced with normal tho true enough a veteran should likely try hard or nightmare.
I find difficulty fun
I wish for the stances that they did it like Ghost of Tsushima where you can switch between all stances without having to go through the menu and only use two at a time
What i miss is the hold x ability that lets you do it during combat with a cut

Just got it on PS5 and this game is a lot of fun! I play on the normal difficulty and am able to actually not suck too bad so far..the performance is lacking for sure..hopefully they can patch it. Excited to explore and try out the blaster stance
I'm on PS5 and it runs smoothly for me plus I'm playing in quality mode
Frame rates and resolution are shocking
I'm on PC and I can barely play in the bigger open world areas. Game is like 2 fps whenever I'm in a big environment even with all settings on low. Loving the game but that's killing me. Be happy u have it on Ps5 😂

You didn't mention the stim at the very beginning on Corasaunt. Right after you get the zip lone, it's super close to the next meditation site.
One thing it doesn't tell you is that it's going to run at 15fps on your 4000$ pc

It's super obvious this game needed far more optimization work. Industry standard practice is It's close enough. Get it out in the market, and we'll optimize it later via patches.
Totally. It's a great game but it's disappointing knowing I'll likely never get to play it as intended. I'm on ps5. Nothing game breaking but FPS is extremely low and CONSTANT juttering. I know it's look great if it was optimized as well
@Snarpsta I too am on ps5. I found the best settings to be turn off performance mode, turn on blur, and set field of view to widest. This gives me the cleanest and sharpest graphics and stable frame rates.
BEGINNER TIP 1: You need an RTX 8090 to get consistent 45FPS with ray tracing OFF on Medium settings ....

12 hours in and just had my first issues , nothing major .
Work bench took probably 40 seconds or so before it let me do anything and a waterfall was just like a black shadow

The game runs fine for me, only problem o had is in the first mission I dashed through a wall by accident and had to go back to the last checkpoint
PC players all crying, I’m on Series X and the game looks and runs like a dream, not experienced any bugs/glitches or lag yet

I died went back to the respawn point and had no audio until I got to a cutscene that froze my game for 30 seconds. (Playing on series s)
Number one Tip: Play on PS5 where the game is actually playable

Bug-free new releases don't exist any more.
It's running fine on my Series X but I do find when doing a final blow sometimes it clips through the wall where I can't see the finale
@elfnino I mean dead island 2 is pretty bug free, on pc I have 70 hours in the game and haven't encountered a single bug yet

Why are we still learning skills & stupid stances,why do we need stances,the gun should be on a regular button to pull out & use at will,this is a total ripoff,too many games these days capitalize on grind & the illusion of something new,this is just part 2 of a Jedi training simulation like the 1st one🙄

You want everything ready for you, where you do nothing apart from playing the story? That would be a rip off, not fun and no satisfaction in playing it at all.
