As a home church pastor looking for worship videos we can sing to, this is such a great video. 1. No pictures, videos, moving backdrops to distract our attention from God; 2. Words come on screen in time to sing them, again, minimizing distraction from God; 3. The song is in a singable key, also helping to keep our attention on God instead of how to keep changing octaves to try joining in; 4. The sound of the song is a congregation singing, helping us feel like we are part of the body of Christ that is worshipping God, not an audience to performers. It's hard to find videos that put these elements together, so keep up the good work!

@@toplobster1040 to be held fast is too be gripped firmly and to remain. The line could be written as "When I am doubtful and falling away, Christ will grip me firmly and will not allow me to stumble." 🙌
I pray that I will remember and trust in this truth when I go through dark times.

my pastor died unexpectedly on january 26th of 2022 and the sunday after he died this song played and i thought that he will hold me fast. my pastors name was GREG STRAWBRIDGE i will very much miss him but he his reigning with the saints.

I love this song. I am a young Teenage girl who is Jewish but I love Jesus Christ. Pray for my family please. Can anybody help me with the words ""Hold Me Fast"" what does it mean any way?? To my understanding I think it means He will keep me strong. Am I wrong or right??

Rebecka Stensberg also it's a reminder that we can do nothing to gain our salvation. Christ does it all. He saves us and he keeps us. We don't do the saving or the keeping.

I recommend that you read the book of John in the Bible. 🙂 The Bible says that anyone can come to Jesus and be saved (John 6:35-40) and that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:11-13). If you repent of your sin and turn to Him, He WILL save you. I'll pray for you. 🙏
Please read Jogn 3:16! Jesus said WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM WOULD HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. He said in another place that him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Read Ephesians 2: 8,9, these verses make it clear! You will be saved when you trust that Jesus died on the cross for you and paid for all of your sins. It is as simple as trusting that He took your place and that you trust Him to save you!
