- There are few tracks in Rocket Racing that are loved by both speedrunners and professionals, but Anaconda did exactly that. Through the discoveries of five separate individuals, the world record was able to decrease to sub-1 minute, the first of its kind.

It’s quite the achievement, but why ghosting through barriers is allowed for world records is beyond me. Anyone that knows how to create cheats in Gamewizard for the PS4 could just make the barriers and checkpoints not apply.
I like seeing pure skill world records without all the exploits.
Theres different categories of wr’s for tracks such as ultra shortcuts and just playing the track normally but the speed run website does allow the shortcut wr’s sadly
the records with crazy barrier exploits are on separate leaderboards from the ones with them, so while both categories were discussed in this video they are separate on the website and each have their own history. Also, many people see a difference between using glitches in the game and using cheats to accomplish the same thing even if you may not.

As for expanding broader than Rocket Racing - one this is a team channel so def not on this channel. Two - it's still very very early days, and so it should be expected that it's only up from here, in terms of gameplay and player base. I personally can't wait until next season (in like a week lol) when the Rocket Racing UEFN Track Builder will release. I think it's worth putting time and energy into something I enjoy that has potential in a rich, relatively uncontested environment over something that I'd need to build from the ground up again. ty for the feedback tho :)

Love Wirtual and this is it but rocket racing. I was messing around on on anacanda a while back and i got a 1:58.73 and my buddy got a 1:54.98 but to see how good people are is incredible.

Amazing video I really enjoyed it. The one thing that might need a little bit of work is the thumbnail. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thumbnail whatsoever, but I think u could make a better one imo. Even tho u got 2k views and climbing, I think if u changed the thumbnail, u will gain more views. Just a friendly suggestion from a fellow small content creator.

I had a barrier glitch similar to that on tilted but I didn’t take advantage of it
We're familiar with it; believe it or not it still works, only issue is no one has gone for WR with it despite it clearly being faster

Yeah, you have to do go down into the barrier at a block seam, it's difficult but definitely faster
Hey I have a question if anybody can answer this please but when they would skip the start why would they stop holding the gas and then respawn
I'm not sure to be honest. It's likely a precise respawn location and thus slowing down helps, but you'd have to ask the guy who drove the run himself sorry

Afaik the respawn happens automatically when the game finally detects the barrier they hit, not sure why they slow down though

No, I don't believe so. PJ2 did have an ultra (which was useless) for a period of time, but I don't recall there ever being a reason for its removal; I think it just wasn't in to begin with, as it was for Riviera. Also - he's since reduced his best time to 46 seconds, it might premiere in 24ish hours, it might not dependent on what the devs do/what he feels like, but stay tuned for that over on his channel, @Gone-Rogue :)

you can. for a full explanation, check the second most recent longform upload - but it's best to bind drift and dodge separately.

I find it really interesting how people will out someone for abusing glitches, but then praise somebody else for abusing other ones. Either way, the video felt like watching a playlist of shortcut runs (Kind of like reaction content, where a bunch of stuff is recycled into a video where someone reacts to it.). Differences here are basically a couple of paragraphs. Anyways, these aren't "runs" they're just bugs being abused, like what I did with the ranked system at the beginning of the season. I'm not surprised that it happened though, considering this mode averages under 10K players which is VERY embarrassing. Anyways I can tell you put a lot of effort into the video, and that's nice. Just fyi, if you want to make a lot of content to build a huge audience, which you are definitely capable of doing, try to make content of things where an actual volume of people watch. That way, your potential view count isn't a couple thousand, like RR. Wish Epic funded actual worthwhile things. Ok cya
Don't worry, they are, and that's why I'm sticking with Rocket Racing, as even though it was a buggy mess to begin with, it's much better now. On another note, a lot has been leaked for next season (which releases in a week), new players will be interested for sure. Ty for the feedback as well :)

Just wanted to add to what you stated. Yes, abusing glitches is bad and is 100% unfair. However, even with this glitch it still took me an hour or so to get a sub 1 minute, so it still requires skill to get that time. 👍
uupload the videos in 14440p even if they footage is 1920 bb/c youtube compresses 1080p[ videos too much
i just let yt upload in HD qual. it wouldn't change the quality of the vid tho as i have to source the clips from YT; they'd still be blurry after being exported anyways. hoping a replay tool drops soon to combat this.

Hey! there's numerous methods of breaking out of the barrier (which may be patched in the new update, it's downtime at the moment when I'm writing this), the easiest of which is flying into the barrier at the place where two "blocks" connect. That is, when they were building the map, the place where they connected the two road segments. There's one other method to perform a barrier break, although it requires precise timing and a much more difficult setup.
As for the barrier delete (which I think you were asking for?), we're keeping it private and avoiding using it where possible as it would lead to the destruction of ranked.

How CZcams works is it suggests audiences to a "niche", which in this case, was the Trackmania audience. That's the reason why a few people in the comments are comparing the vid to Wirtual's content. It also recommended it to Portal's niche, which is why some others compared the vid to msushi

why does the footage recorded so poorly? the bitrate is like 2kb/s and the graphics is minimal.
It's been downloaded directly from CZcams using an external software, the only problem is the quality they upload in. I sadly can't do anything about it

No, they won't be. There are about ten players who know how to recreate it, one (Rogue) who's done some speedruns with it, and he's reported it directly to Epic through a private manner to ensure competitive integrity :)
