I feel like “Get It Together” was testing the waters with how fans wanted to play modern WarioWare games. At this point, regardless of controls, we just want more WarioWare.
If anything I'm pretty sure WarioWare Gold was the one testing the waters! Get It Together felt like they wanted to try something new while kinda sorta throwing a little bit of Wario Land in the mix.

Get It Together was most likely just so they could have a WarioWare that could be played normally on the Switch Lite.

I love that. It was the game I actually grew up with over the original. It deserves so much more attention and praise. Supremely underrated and the definitive version of the game.

Smooth moves is the greatest drinking game of all time. It's literally a gift from god in how perfect it is. It makes mario party look like a joke. I'm so ready to get tanked with the boys and play this.
Bring back the distorted/compressed voice filter from older WarioWare games, it would make the voice actor change an easier pill to swallow and it just sounds way cooler in general.
No matter what they did to present the new voice, it was always going to be a hard pill to swallow

@@Duskztar They did, what are you on about? This sounds like Wario, it's just different than what we've usually heard from him ofc. Martinet is overseeing the new guys voicing these characters and if he gives them the okay and likes their voices, then yeah it sounds and fits Wario.

This game reminds me of Smooth Moves a LOT.
The first level is even Wario running away from something towards the screen. I love it.
I didn’t think they were going to announce it…
But at least we got Get It Together to keep us waiting until the day comes…
The graphics even look similar
The game's Japanese name translates to "Super Dancing Made in Wario". Considering Smooth Moves was called "Dancing Made in Wario", I think this is a full-on sequel!
They perhaps added references to smooth moves, since it was a game many people loved it.
There's even the final boss in multiplayer (the dancing one)
Nintendo actually remembered that this year is the series’ 20th anniversary!

Really hoping this game will have full voice acting like Gold. That made that whole package so much more fun than it already was. Either way, pumped for this!
Edit: Now that it's been confirmed that Charles Martinet will not be reprising his roles any longer, I have my doubts. Full voice acting probably won't happen again, which at least makes Gold all the more special.
I'm with you. The game looks very promising, but it would be incredibly disappointing to not have voice acted cutscenes. Warioware Gold's cutscenes are genuinely "GOLD" and add so much charm to an already solid game.
Why not have that but with actual animation instead of two frames whenever someone is talking?
That's something Nintendo games almost always suffer in. Sacrificing voice-acting for animation quality and vice versa.
@@daswarzenschwein The way Wario is running makes me hope all the cutscenes are like this. He looks so expressive! Oh yeah we need voice acting back too. I feel like some of GIT's cutscenes were awkward and felt rushed like Wario's Intro stage. Hopefully this game also has the epilouge cutscenes after each stage too.
@@plush-voltage8178I agree, plus the fact that there aren’t any epilogue cutscenes meant that we wouldn’t know how each situation was resolved. (And in the case of Orbulon’s stage, how Wario’s house became the way it is after the intro stage.)

The fact that the japanese version even makes it clear is a follow up to Smooth Moves is just insane to me, I loved that game so much, easily my favorite game on the Wii (as well my favorite WarioWare game), so seeing a spiritual successor to it on the Switch just makes me real happy.

If they have a just as ridiculous final boss mini game as in Smooth Moves, this is going to be the ultimate Warioware.

I doubt they'd replace him entirely. With all of the new things they're trying, they probably have him changing his voices up to fit the changes.

I really wish Nintendo would do these as launch titles. The microgame format is uniquely suited for showing off what the system can do, even more so than the Sports and the 1-2 series.
1, 2 Switch should have been WarioWare Move It! I've been saying this or at least saying that 1, 2 Switch should have been a sequel to Smooth Moves with full Wario branding since 2017. 1, 2, Switch is probably the worst full price Nintendo game ever made. It had only 5 minigames and got super old. Some of the games had no graphics so "why bother?" as Reggie would say!

Smooth Moves sold me on the Wii and actually gave me false expectations of what other devs would do with the motion controls.
Sadly no games even **came close** to how creative Smooth Moves was. And now Move It! is likely to do the same lol

Well, to those who were wondering why Wario sounds different, turns out Charles Martinet won’t be involved in this game either. Whoever Nintendo has got to do Charles Martinet’s voices must have been trained my Martinet himself, even Luigi sounds like Martinet’s version in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

This looks a lot more like Smooth Moves, and that's my favorite WarioWare by far.
Finally! This is pretty much a sequel to “smooth moves”. I had the most fun playing that in Japan back in 2007… '_'
A lot of people don't like Wario's new voice in this but I always really liked when his voice was a bit deeper/more gruff. Wishing the new VA the best even though I'll miss Charles.
Feels like a mixture of then-current English "Italian" voice and original Japanese "German" voice.
Smooth Moves is my favorite Warioware game so seeing something similar to it is amazing

It should be noted the Japanese name of this is “Super Dancing Made in Wario”, of which “Dancing Made in Wario” was the name of Smooth Moves. This is very literally Smooth Moves 2.

this alone (and the shaking after it LOOOOL) made this direct my favorite. Like it was incredible before but now its my favorite and almost perfect. If we got tomodachi, it woulda been perfect but im still happy.

Looks like another incredibly fun WarioWare game as usual however being a bit crippled here worries me that this instalment might be somewhat beyond my physical abilities lol! Even so I’m still very much tempted by the notion of a sequel of sorts to the Wii version (which is my favourite in the series) so barring any chance of an “extremely easy” mode included in this latest instalment I may very well be quite willing to risk the other leg for this game!
