Yes, would love to watch videos on plants and herbs that are made into tinctures and salves. Glad I found you! I'm just learning and can't get enough!
Yes I want to know more! Great video and information!
Love this! Thank you for making the identification and making the tincture so simple. Blessings
Thank you †I am glad you enjoyed the video!

I noticed this year st johns is everywhere( it might have been there before ....lol ) but I just had to say you look like you're harvesting in my area all those dang pine trees... thanks for the info just getting into medicinal herbs:)

Yes!! I love this tincture video!! Please make more!!!âĄâĄâĄ this was great. I have st John's wart all over my property rt now.
Thank you that is such a lovely compliment â€
Can you make a tincture with pretty much anything that's a leafy product?
I totally want more about plants!
Tinctures can be made with many products! Barks, roots, leaves, when I was a birth worker I did placenta encapsulation and tincturing for postpartum women. Tinctures are AMAZING medicine. I was thinking actually that I should harvest my Mullein this coming week and film it :D it's a fantastic medicine. Think "Hippie Mucinex" lol
Great Video!
Thank you †I cant wait to do more cool herby stuff đ
Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge of mother nature with us
You're a joy to watch have a wonderful âïž
very cool i like cocktails lol
lol Maybe I should do some legit cocktail making vids with wild herbs and plants there are some fantastic recipes out there!!!
I picked some in France and they are dry now: can I still make tincture with them?
Hi can you use the st.john that sells in store for tea or does it have to be the fresh plant? Thanks
It depends on what form they are selling it in. Honestly, I would try my best to purchase fresh from a farmer or an herb store like Mountian Rose Herbs if you cant harvest your own. For pretty much any application the fresher the product you start with the better the end product will be.
@@TheNamelessHomestead ok, thanks for answering, will have to search, thanks again
Please be careful! Would love to see more herbal remedies! Thank You
Always! I am a STRONG advocate for a healthy marriage between both traditional medicines and western medicine.
Can you use pure alcohol that sells in pharmacy, cause here where i live vodca only has 46% of alcohol. .thanks
That depends on what you mean by alcohol. If you mean Isopropyl alcohol for example that would not be suitable. You want something that is safe to consume. At the end of the day, you CAN use lower percent alcohol you just won't get as strong of a product.
@@TheNamelessHomestead ok , then thanks alot!
What do you use the tincture for
I struggle with depression and anxiety which are the 2 most common uses for st johns wort
@@TheNamelessHomestead I also read it is used topically and has antibacterial qualities for wounds! Really like learning about the uses of herbs and plants! Thank You!
Oh for sure! It has lots of uses depending on what product you are creating. Very cool stuff!
@@TheNamelessHomestead I'm wondering the dosage...how much would you drink and how often?
