    1st case daughter keeps saying my mom didn't let me know who my father was. Then she says she told her it was Mr. Long at 10 and the mother states she never gave her another name she always knew. The daughter tried to push another man as her father but the mother was adamant that man was not. All in all the mother was right. The daughter has a grudge against her mother, may be deserve, but she goes against everything her mother says.

In addition, my comment is for reaching beyond just this episode. It's about the sanctimonious judgement many children put on their parents when they become adults. They unfortunately, problem get the same from their children and then they will go back and apologize and say things like, "I understand now." Hopefully, the parent will still be alive to receive that relief on their heart. Because it is a hurt they don't understand until it happens to them.

  • @SilverGhxst
    @SilverGhxst Před 5 měsíci +10

    The daughter, in the first case, needs therapy. She's holding so much resentment and anger towards her mother and absolutely no anger towards her father. I understand at 10 she couldn't go looking for him but at 16 she could, at 17 she could, at 18 she could. She didn't need to wait till she was in her late 30s, but SHE chose to wait till then to find out who her father was.
    I dont think it's entirely fair to blame the mother. The father is majorly to blame. He KNEW he had a possible child and just didn't care to figure it out. If you have a possible child in the world, you do anything to find that child and figure it out. You dont just go meh oh well baby mama left so its not my responsibility. Of course, the mother plays a part as well, but it's not all her fault for HIS actions. He choose his own actions, and hes responsible for them.
    I grew up without my father. As a child, i would cry for him and wonder why he didn't love me. I searched his name on facebook but could never find him. One day, i found an email. Took a chance and reached out. My father responded. At 13 i found a way to get incontact with my father with the only information i knew being his first and last name. I didnt know where he potentially lived, i didnt even live in the same city as him.
    Might be rude, but if i could find a way to contact my father she definitely could have. She had even more information than i did about her father. She just refused to believe her mother about the information. The father could have found her throughout the years, and the daughter could have reached out throughout the years as well.

That's something your brains supposed to be able to do completely by 25, and even the ones that wait till after that age to have kids are still at child level of not being aware of others. I totally understamd when in the mists of things it's hard to see what's going in outside of yourself but stuff like this is years and years in the making and it's like.they just see a baby as an extension of themselves and not a full, actual person that's has all of their own experiences completely separate from them. Back in the day before DNA testing there was a need for these things being decided by court, and people coming with their "evidence".
    But now a days this is a YES or a NO determined by the DNA tests.
    Why do they keep having these court cases when all that's needed is that tests are securely taken at the court house, and then that the results are told to those involved in an office at the court house...
    Is it done like this in all states of the USA ?
    To me as a European it's very strange, it's certainly not done like this here, exposing peoples private life like this...
    And I feel so sorry for those poor babies who might see this on the internet later on... 😥

    • @cgone4343
      @cgone4343 Před 5 měsíci +3

      No-it’s reality tv scripted (the producers take the most interesting parts of their stories and instruct them to talk about that) for entertainment (cheaper than other shows with paid actors). Typically it goes through court, but on rare occasions people have to pay privately up to $1K. The alternative is to have a paid trip to Atlanta and earn a few hundred $$ to appear on Paternity Court. It’s also a reality that most Americans have no savings and so this, unfortunately, was an option.

      Wow ... 😮 It's sad that people have to do it this way for economic reasons...
      For me, not knowing the system over in the US, this show with real people and their real life situations, is shocking... But as I saw this I did think that people with "more resources" probably don't have to go through this...

      There is actually a video about her on CZcams that shows her life where she was in the beginning and what she did before she became a TV Judge. She actually had a reality show first, I believe it was doing some type of home makeovers before she became a TV Judge

    When it comes the paternity of a child, why do men always claim they're not the father because they don't have a certain health condition in their family? Do they not realize that a child is created by two people meaning they could inherit a health condition from her side of the family that his side of the family might not have lol? They do the same thing with looks as well.
