When I was at Arizona State, early 70's, we had to go through a SOFT HANDS drill every dang day. I, as a pitcher had to do it too. Our soft hands drill was done bare handed, no gloves at all. IT worked like a charm.

@@andreharris144 Andre, we took what was like a tennis ball. About the size of a baseball. Then took infield practice. Coaches would hit ground balls to us, we fielded using no gloves. Softhands Is what they called it.
What type of pancake mitt is that? Ours is not bendable. I'd like the kind you have

The 975 glove - is it constructed so that the glove cannot be closed? Seems like it could be a great transition from the pancake glove if it cannot be closed.
It can be depending on how well you break it in.

@@cwj9202 yes especially if you get the “pro kip” model. Much stiffer leather.
