When I was a kid watching the Fly to the Angels video on MTV, could have never imagined I’d be alive in 2024 and watching backstage video of the drummer throwing lettuce in the mouth of a hippo on a “phone.”
Jason, I loved this tour diary video. Thank you for sharing. I found the private tour that the band members and you were given of the San Antonio Zoo to be very informative and entertaining . I haven’t seen any other bands feeding hippos on CZcams. Thanks again for continuing to post great content.
Thanks Jason this was really cool🍻🎸🎵🤘🍸
It was really cool to see the whole band out together. I only wish Stephen would have joined you. The dinner segment was especially entertaining.
It’s very rare and Stephen even rarer
“Blas doing his best Dana Strum” LOL
Another cool video. Thanks Jason.
Glad you enjoyed it!
RIP VINNIE & DIME. Cool thing about the zoo. PanterA walk
That was a cool tribute!
@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen You guys do know this has ZERO to do with the band...right? Pantera is a feminine noun that translates to "panther" in English! So, the "Pantera Walk" is where the felines can walk from one habitat to another. A first of it's kind if I'm not mistaken!
Compliments from Betty Ford!! Lmao!! 😂😂 Great tour diary! Thank you for sharing!
I go to San Antonio several times a year and I’ve never been to the zoo. I’ll have to plan on going now. I really Enjoyed the video. 👍🏻👍🏻
This was so very cool! I've been to a lot of zoos but have never gotten to feed a hippo or touch a rhino. And how cool that John Quiñones was at the restaurant; love his show! Thank you, Jason.
fantastic
Great episode! dAmn that food looked good!
I was a zoo docent for about 10 yrs in one of their sister zoos in Alabama. I had never seen the San Antonio zoo. I loved this SO much!! This is just great entertainment. Awesome video!
This was such a great video Jason. I have already rewatched to look at the animals. The fact that they can train the animals in order to administer shots and take their blood was such a cool fact. We always learn something new watching tour diaries
Enjoying this while recovering from COVID for the second time.
I’m sorry to hear that and I hope I can offer some entertainment while you hopefully get better soon
Did he say he found the restaurant/food good? I always like hearing a final opinion on the places they eat - a diary of food cuisine across the US./
Most of us really liked it, I know I did
I love the big cats! Great video, Jason. Thanks for taking us on tour with you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I work as a zookeeper but still get a thrill being close to animals like lIons and tigers. I wish everyone could get a vip tour at a good zoo, as you learn so much more than on a crowded day
it's got to be BRUTAL during the summer months but I'm sure some areas are worse than others!
Treated to something not everyone gets to do thank you for sharing
Best tour video you have ever done! Loved that band was all there to see the animals
johnny in a hard hat needs to be a meme.
Jason - thanks for one of your best videos yet.
Big thanks to all of the staff at the zoo for all the great info.
Great to see Erik out and enjoying himself.
Thank you for yet another awesome tour diary good sir!
Good vibes thanks Jas
Cheers that a boys!
Jason, you need to take Johnnh to Chunky's Burgers the next time you come to San Antonio. He should do the Four Horsemen Challenge.
Really enjoyed this episode, seen you guys at Jergals pittsburgh recently. Good time. Johnny rockin the hard hat😂😂🎶🎶🔊
I have to agree with everybody on here Jason you do a great job I love watching these I look forward to them keep up the good work letting us see all this
27:55 😂 Hilarious 🦒
Cool photo!!
Fantastic video really enjoyed this one - awesome to see all the animals
Thanks for sharing, Jason! My son is named after Blaus and my Birthday is one day after his! Blaus is even cooler now than back in the '80s and has aged better than anyone I can think of in the R'n'R industry! Kudos on his soberity, I've going on 10 years after 28 years of abuse. BTW was the food as good as it was hyped? I'm hoping Blaus is still on the tour when it rolls through Roanoke, VA in October! Funny seeing Monaco wearing all white "grill masters", does he also own a Corvette?
What a WICKED tour diary!! On Safari with the band!!! Great job Jason - thanks for sharing!! Matt orders the snapper 😂 - ⚡️⚡️
Not to worry folks. The animals in Pantera Walk are not Fucking Hostile.
😂
This is top-level stuff here. Great job, Jason.
Best diary yet!
18-35 year old me is shocked at how entertained 50 year old me has been for the last 47 mins. 😂 This was cool as hell man. Good work, Jason.
Fun vid!
You get paid to hang out with Blas Elias, how rad is that? I am always gonna be a fan, he is such a kind and talented human. Hope you are taking care of yourself Jason (no more leg injuries or cancer my friend). Cheers!
Jason-this is awesome!
Best episode thus far !! Fucking amazing!! GO TEAM GREEN!!
Those Abbot's! I went to see Damage Plan and the kids I went with wanted to leave early. I didn't want to. At that point, I was seeing Fear Factory and Lamb of God a few times a year.
I thought, Alright I will see them next time around. A week later, they played in Ohio and Dime was shot by an obsessed fan. I was shocked and saddened. I was also quite upset that Vinny said he would never work with the other members of Pantera (Rex and Phil). Not many people know it, but Pantera was a hair band and actually more like Van Halen. Later they developed their own style with Phil Anselmo, who was actually very into hardcore punk. Thank you, Jason! Great show!!
all Pantera fans are aware
Nice! I visited the San Antonio zoo last Summer. 🙈🙉🙊
Can you ask Blas what’s? he’s diet every day
Code name Hard Hat
I never would bother a “famous” person - especially when they are having a meal with others. This guy seems gracious and welcoming, but I’ll bet he can rarely eat in peace.
I would argue that Blas is much more famous then him
That John Quiñones guy is on national tv. Every hillbilly and old fart knows his face… and I’ll bet he’s never heard a Slaughter song in his life.
Respectfully, Blas was a hired-gun drummer from a second tier hair band that was popular 35 years ago. I’m sure he’s well known to middle-aged schlumps and followers of his musical genre, though.
@@vistalite not cool to bash Blaus but you're right, John Quiñones is definitely more well known AND the CEO of the zoo approached him first and the video is edited so I'm sure he waved Blaus over knowing he was a BIG fan of the show and asked John if it was cool beforehand!
@@raaawkstaaar Whatever, ma’am. I wouldn’t consider stating fact as “bashing” Blas.
Love these tour diaries but these were better when Erik didn’t want to be in these. I was embarrassed for him as he was drinking and saying “gracias” even though the staff speaks English.
whos driving them back to the hotel? that was a lot of alcohol, yikes!
🤔👋🧐😕 what's this ha ha
