Trivia:
Part of this episode was made last year till my break from Splatoon. I developed my animation experience since then, and with time, new models and updates came through during my absence. After the exact minute, "02:43", the episode will continue with the updated models and the new animation mechanics called "Rigging".

ABSOLUTELY love how smooth everything is, the texture, the colors, makes everything feel so clean and fresh. I can truly tell you put lots of effort into this, just look how clean and smooth all of this is, Two-dev, Hard work does pay off, just look at the final product.

Not bad! It gives some hints to what will become of the strange girl yet holding it back at a good point to keep us enticed. Also, that dynamic war scene really caught me by surprise, especially with the use of actual guns (though 4 was the only one to use a Splat Bomb)! It was out of nowhere! Hopefully we get a bit more context to what that was about.
I'll definitely keep tabs on this series! ^w^
I love the story build up! The plot is so well done so far, the animation is amazingly smooth, and the character development so far is great! I know episode 2 is gonna be awesome!

Man, it took one year to only do the first episode but it was worth it, I'm actually excited to see the next episode when it becomes available as it was interesting from the start, a.k.a the prologue/episode 0

Can we just put this man's work into perspective:
I try to draw my splatoon comic but end up just not getting anywhere except in big bursts of time where i lose balance in my life, and even if its ever done, it will be at least 3 years or so. Not TwoDev here though, even after only being back at splatoon animation for a month or so, he's already made most of something that reminded me why i love YT splatoon animations, the very things that made me want to try a comic myself, in the first place (the selection has narrowed over the years). If this is what a year's wait is worth, it's worth it. I cant wait for however the rest of the series goes 🥳
