We now have at least 2 players capable of helping with the rotation for each position without repeating anyone. What becomes even more dynamic when we think that several players can play in two or even 3 different positions. This is a big differentiator for our team. We can rest the starters without having a major loss of quality on the court and it also gives us intensity for the entire match. I believe that Leon will still make two more moves: a trade involving a Center and possibly the return of Achiuwa. Things are looking very promising.

This move to me looks like Sims & Payne are on the trading block mid season. With mid-Season teams know where they are waiting hasn’t worked entirely but the best mid season move example Kawhi. We are looking for only a Center. We wait because players get hurt. We use what we have until a Center that fits become available. This give you some room mid season for a move rather than lock in the beginning of the season. Being locked in can be a big problem because of high injuries probability
A mid-season move is likely, Bob. Play out the season, see where we are, and then go for that big man. I like that move, and we still have Mitch, a heck of a center. We must ease Mitch in until mid-season and then get our big man. As always, Bob, solid points.
FIRST, let me say, Cam Payne on THIS roster, man, man, man. He's THAT dude: a vet, whose playing style fits this culture plus and most important, HE SHOWS UP IN THE PLAYOFFS! EVERYTHING I've seen him do and know has been in the playoffs since Phoenix Suns.
Well, we know the KNICKS won't keep 4 PG's on the staff, which means somebody will be moved: Brunson, McBride, Cam & Kolek. Mcbride has played himself into an attractive trade piece for sure

@@NYSportsChalk I'm just aware of the interest in some veteran Centers and the possibility of Achiuwa returning either to join the squad or to be involved in some trade. Regarding Deuce, the information is that the Knicks have no interest in trading him, but I suspect that this could be about to happen. I would accept trade Mitchell, Deuce or Achiuwa for one or two real good trades. Even loving all of them.
This signing might signal a trade involving Duece.
