  • Amazing effects using Isopropyl Alcohol with acrylic pouring paint. Great for beginners.
In todays video I will be trying a brand new acrylic pouring technique but adding a special twist to it. This is a MUST TRY my friends! I am overly excited about the possibilities this technique opens up to us and being a mixed media artist such as myself , it provides even more possibilities. Watch me as I walk you through each and every step and as I mentioned it is great for beginners and extremely relaxing to do.
Learn just how easy it is to create magic. It's all about having fun and exploring your inner artist. Leave all the worry to me and just enjoy! As always, love to you all & HAPPY POURING ❤️
Thanks for watching & don't forget to subscribe❣️
Although this artist has been doing this technique for a long time it is new for me and boy am I happy I found him. Go check him out when you get a chance and tell him I sent you. You won't be sorry.

Painting is all about creating lights and darks. Some folks are really good at only painting the darks. Some folks are better at wiping away paint to create the light. You seem to be in the "wiping" category, which I am as well. Neither is right or wrong ... as long as you've prepped your surface for that to happen.
One of the easiest ways to prep a surface is to use a gloss medium. You weren't specific in what medium you used to create a gloss surface, but any gloss medium will do.
I get why you used whatever medium you did as it allows the paint to literally slide on or off of the surface. Easy to add to, easy to wipe off. Takes away the need to use traditional tedious methods of producing lights and darks. Pretty well paints itself!
Thanks for the video. Way cool.

Hi Tammy fun video! to do on canvas you need to paint High Gloss house paint, 2 coats. And let it dry for 2 days. You can also use Triple thick poly urethane gloss to seal up the canvas. Done this Alcohol technique for years. It's a great class for kids.
