SeaDoo should make an Adam signature version with all of your add on's with your fluorescent yellow signature color and logo!
I agree! 😅🙌🏻
I would suggest you add a whistle that you keep on your PFD (maybe inside one of the pockets). The whistle inside the Sea Doo’s compartment won’t do you any good if you get “thrown off” your Sea Doo and need to make noise to get the attention of someone you’re traveling with.
I would also suggest getting a dive knife that you can strap on you leg and keep it with your goggles and snorkel. I have watched you do some free diving in your other videos (which meant you removed your PFD so your knife is no longer within easy reach). You could get entangled onto something while free diving so a dive knife would come in handy.
One final suggestion is to add a Mylar Emergency Blanket in your emergency gear. Say your Sea Doo stalls out while you’re doing an ocean crossing between Newport and Catalina and you had to call for help. It’s cold, so hypothermia is a concern. The Mylar blanket can help you keep warm (to a degree) and the silver surface can aid visually to spot you from above.
All excellent suggestions and I’ll be doing that for sure!
Mate, As the captain of a 100ft yacht I am so impressed and happy to see a PWC owner with everything they need and beyond! Hit me up if you need any advice. But it looks like you’ve got it all covered. Keep up the content!
Thanks Captain!
Great information Adam! I have only done a little open ocean riding so far but plan to do much more when the weather cooperates. The emergency becon is something I will look into. I do have a marine radio and I did bring my Seadoo to the Coast Guard auxiliary. They did a courtesy vessel safety inspection and thought I was extremely well prepared. Certainly not as prepared as you.
That’s brilliant that you did that! Safety first!
I love to see all these amazing modifications, I’m definitely going to have to make some updates on my Explorer pro. Great work 👏👏👏
You should!
Great information I am planning on getting into the jet ski world with the wife. I agree with all your safety features 100% Thanks for taking the time to give us this video.
Glad it was helpful!
Mate
Where did you get the Can doo adventure bag? Thanks
Outstanding.... safety 1st and I would never have thought about 1/2 of what you have. Love It!
What a great summary of all the epic additions you have made thus far!! We just bought our Explorer Pro a few weeks ago and I think the lights you added are perfect (both awesome looking and practical). You mentioned that you might be making them available as a kit, any idea as to when that might be available?
I Love your content and absolutely love our Explorer Pro as well!
Thx
John Lindsey
I’m working on getting it out there ASAP!
Great vid Adam! Love that your GoPro battery dies while talking about GoPro battery charging. Classic!
Lol typical!
The first upgrade is for sure handy..a lot can happen on those long distance trip and sinking would be quite grim. Adding!
Agreed, you won’t be sorry.
My dive knife I use is a Scubapro titanium knife mounted to my vest. No upkeep needed, no wash down if you forget will not rust plus sharp as hell!
Nice!
All great gear and tour can i something extra… if your in fog and going slowly due the weather then you need a rear warning just in case a boat is coming up behind you going a little faster than you are, plus if your riding in a group it means your fellow mariners can see you to keep up with you etc. All it would take is another strip of LEDs,along the rear of your sea Doo powered by your onboard battery. Great to see diesel dog looking great and happy
Yeah rear lights are something I’d like to add
Adam or someone in the comments please let me know what nav lights and fog lights are on the ski?? Looking to put quality lights on my 2023 giahpro
Great video. Thank you for all the very useful information.
You just keep getting more professional. As Lee Marvin would say, "You're the A number One.
Haha thank you!
I've enjoy the journey so far and I love my FishPro and ExplorerPro....Id like to see in depth how you installed your lights...💯
I’ll be doing an install video for the lighting kits
Well done buddy!
Could you post the link for those saddle bags? I couldn’t find them
👍 awesome video Adam enjoy your many adventures ❤ you are always prepared
Thank you! I try to be :)
Great video! Now I have a bunch of stuff to add to my Fish Pro Trophy. I wish navigation lights were an mfg option. You have to make it up to Ontario Canand bro so many places to explore.
Don’t think I’m not working on them being stock ;)
😂 You could also install a solar desalination plant if your bottle of water runs out 🤠
Ok, you got me, i subscribed.
Im style not big on the factory styling of seadoo BUT you have a real nice ski.
Thanks for the sub!
Where can you buy the kit for all the nav lights??
After seeing your Explorer, May get 1 of these over the RXP-X. So much more room for stuff. Love your setup
Yeah well worth it if adventure is what you’re seeking vs speed
@@AdamSwords once I get out there I’ll have to connect with you. I’m pretty pumped up it won’t be till probably next summer but it’s gonna be worth it.
Overkill for what I would need in their lineup but it’s the one I’d want haha. Do you think the 170 is sufficient for the price savings or get the 230 offered in the 2024 model?
You’re going to have to put a 360 White light too.
Saludos tremendo equipo de seguridad y buen sea doo
Gracias!
I have the 170 and it really lists to the left, as well doesn’t track straight. What did you do to compensate for this? Apparently it’s due to the removal of the supercharger from the 230 and they didn’t compensate for the weight removal.
Simply adjust the Heim joint on the back. Its the joint attached to the right side of you jet nuzzle. Its a 10 millimeter wrench. If its drifting right adjust one turn counter clockwise. If drifting left turn in one turn clockwise. Easy Peasy. I had to adjust mine. It was driving me nuts to have a crooked handlebar.
Incredibly excited for the video on the lights
👌🏼
Can you provide the name or a link to those white/amber lights? I am literally going to buy one of these rigs just by watching your vids. This is exactly the type of adventuring I like doing!
Have you been happy with the nav lights, and if so, where can I find them? Thanks for all the great content.
I'm in Southern California too. Do you have an organized group of riders assembled for some of these excursions I can join?
Yup, www.bit.ly/seadoosenders
A man that has correctly channeled his OCD
Haha thanks!
Love your videos brightens the day.
You are so kind
what made you choose sea doo over yamaha besides the extra storage?? super curious, in the market for a PWC but all i see is “sea doos sink b/c of broken carbon seal” and that they’re “unreliable”. i’d love to hear your experience
In my humble opinion, Seadoo makes the best PWC on the market. I’ve had 5 of them now and cumulatively have well over 1200 hours on them. They are as reliable as any vehicle I’ve ever owned, just make sure you maintain and service them correctly and ride them responsibly and you’ll never have an issue. The carbon seal can be an issue on some skis, but my understanding is these reports mainly come from a bad batch back during covid. That supplier has since been changed and the design updated. I trust my skis with my life whenever I’m on a big ocean crossing or riding remote on the river - take that for what it’s worth. I would suggest adding a 100+ GPH bilge pump as an insurance policy but I’d suggest that for any vessel.
@@AdamSwords appreciate you taking the time to elaborate on that. Will definitely take this into account. Looking forward to seeing more of ur videos. Love ur content. Especially you harping on some of the safety gear. Wouldve never thought about the coast gard radio equipment
Thanks for watching!
Hey Adam, in line with bilge pump thinking - have you ever considered putting a tow tap in? I'm a little surprised you haven't actually and as I'm looking to do it (recently got towed home) I'm wondering if you don't feel it's needed/neccessary?? What's your thoughts on it?
What’s a tow tap? I have a dyneema line that I use to anchor that’s attached to the front towing eye if that’s what you mean
Maybe you call it a tow valve up there ? Its a ball valve/tap which you turn to block water coming through the water line to the engine if having to be get towed without a speed restriction....otherwise towed back at 5kph as recommended. This video basically explains how to install czcams.com/video/G7eHDashD7s/video.htmlsi=dJaO3MUnkrobq48U
I'm talking to my dealer about it tomorrow but was curious if you had considered one.
do you have a link for the Can-doo bags? cant seem to find them
I don’t have a link, I’m not sure where they sell them
Where is the link for the led light kit?
Look at all that free gear ( except the Spyderco, they don’t need an influencer to sell out their knives).
I like this guy-my kinda man, nothing is left to chance. Better be crazily over-prepared than missing something when you need it.
Buddies were laughing at the emergency bag with blankets, small gas cooker, dry food, tarp and a power bank I carry in the bow of my Hobie Outback even on several hours fishing outings until we got stranded on a shore 20 km from the camp with waves too big to make it back. Guess who was laughing then, eh?
Love your stuff and I'm seriously looking into an Explorer Pro, largely thanks to you. BUT, your cool red/green nav lights aren't correct, due to the required angle of view from the bow and 135 degrees from dead on. Although it's nice to have them, any LE or CG would flag them as not correct. In addition, if you're running those, you are required to also have a white stern light. Your kit should consider all of these and should have the ability to have just the stern (anchor) light on when floating during dark. Sorry to be *that guy*, but I'd hate for you to go to all the trouble to produce a kit that isn't USCG compliant. Any thoughts on this?
Outdoor Vitals ULTRALIGHT DOMINION 2 PERSON BACKPACKING TENT
Plenty of room for two plus some gear. Easy setup and tear down.
Awesome! Big enough for a cot?
Yes @@AdamSwords
Maybe an emergency inflatable raft that floats away if you sink 😂
I really like those Can-Doo bags, could you provide the link to purchase this item? Thank you.
Awesome and cool gadgets
Hell yeah!
Good video mate it looks fantastic mate. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
I feel like you need to collab with Best Damn EDC for some of this awesome stuff!
Yeah I agree
Where can I find the can-doo saddle bag?
For small 2 person tents I’d Recommend Nemo Hornet Elite OSMO or check out terra nova. Both brands have some of the smallest pack sizes out there but amazing quality tents!
Thanks for the info! Would they fit a cot inside do you know?
What a great show Adam
Thanks!
I know nothing about seadoo's but I do now :D
Hi Adam
I know you should have an answer on this…
I aesthetically like the front bow rail on the explorer. Think this is a moderately easy install on say ..a FishPro?? Curious
I’m pretty sure there’s hardware on the inside of the hull that would make it very difficult to do this retrospectively. It’s not simply drilled and screwed in, there’s plates to reinforce on the inside.
@@AdamSwords thank you , kinda thought that as much myself. 👍
But on the bimini. Would be the ultimate seadoo cruiser.🎉
What kind of tent is that
Your Bomber polarised glasses, do you find they cause a distracting rainbow effect when looking through the Seadoo windscreen. My polarised Shimano sun glasses did, had to switch to non polarised.
Not really, I also very rarely sit and navigate looking through the windscreen so even if they do it’s not a huge issue for me.
I could not find the CAN-DOO adventure bags for the life of me!
Yeah they don’t have a retailer but I’m considering making some of my own
Amazing setup, but when you mentioned the naked jet ski thing, all that popped into my head was a video of Producer Michael introducing his latest watch purchases riding your SeaDoo wearing pink Crocs and a diamond thong. I am on some strong painkillers for a knee injury and I think it is taking me to so weird places. Sorry for taking you with me🙈🙉🙊
Stop those pain killers immediately. No pain is worse than that visual.
How do they compare to the fish pro trophy? I am thinking more of offshore fishing versus long trips as I will be retired.
You can do everything on an explorer you can do on a fish pro apart from the live well. If that’s not important get the Explorer for $3-4k less
@@AdamSwords that's why I was asking. Don't need the live well but like the cooler. and I would rather have a lowrance than a Garmin. So when I add up my extras it's about the same cost, then I have to add more of what you were showing in this video. I have the same radio already cause I Kayak fish on a Hobie ProAngler 12 360. I love your videos btw. .
The cooler works for both skis and if you’re installing your own fish finder then I’d say go Explorer
Help finding those Can Doo bags please
Is that ICOM waterproff. Great video thanks
Yes, it is
Does the bilge pump outlet stay waterproof if the jetski capsizes. (Watertight)?
Yes because it’s connected to the pump itself.
link for the light kit?
Haven’t started making them yet - but soon!
Aaayyyoo!! Enjoy your Sunday!
You too!!
Chance favors the prepared
True!
Does the Coast Guard or fellow boaters ever mention that you ride in California and Arizona but have out of state registration? Also, great video! Very informative for other PWC and Explorer Pro owners.
Nope! Glad you find the videos useful mate!
If you plan on riding the San Francisco Bay let me know. I'll come out with you. I own the Explorer Pro as well.
I may very well be ending up there at some point this year 👀
my favorite CZcamsr to watch!
No way! Thank you so much for the support.
@@AdamSwordsNo problem!
video on battery please im thinking of adding to mine and want to see what you came up with.
Have to agree safe is the first thing everyone does before going. I over look a small harbour, and see people going out all the time, with on safety equipment, sometimes not even a life jacket. Then the lifeboat has to go find them.
Stupid! People underestimate the ocean.
A don’t even stay anywhere near water but a feel like getting a seadoo for the bell if it 😂😂
You’d have a great time!
@@AdamSwords a fan from Glasgow a wouldn’t take it in the Clyde believe me 🤣
I only got one because it looks cool in my garage. Now I even go out on it at 90kmh. Retirement is a full time must have job with a Seadoo
The anker you featered on one of the other video's, after you lost the first... 😂
No this one is a much better (and safer!) one haha
I hope you will consider international shipping for your lights setup 🙏🏼 G’day from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Absolutely!
Wish I could find that can doo bag I can't find it anywhere
Yes bro
🙌🏻
Need the light kit. Nav lights allow me to ride in Missouri. Walleye are needing to be caught.
Oh sick? Yeah I’m gonna get them out ASAP.
@@AdamSwords in the states you can ride at night with Nav Lights in Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Mississippi, Vermont, Missouri, Montana and South Dakota.
🔝👍
👌🏼
Who installed your bulge pump? You or the dealership. Have you had your bearings on your trailer grease yet?
Robert at JetWorks in Costa Mesa. I avoid the dealers here like the Plague. Haven’t greased the bearings yet.
Depends on locations, i might have a handgun just in case of pirate attack! LOL
Bahaha, technically firearms are allowed when a certain distance offshore
Hi Adam, which brand are your glasses?
Nobody knows how to mod a ski like Adam 😮💨👌
I can’t help myself 😅
Lovely Cheesecake!
Thank you 😋
I know som of it is safety, but I’m surprised you’re not wearing suspenders 🤣🤣
Who says I’m not? 👀
Have you thought about an engine tune?
Nope, doesn’t need it :)
Serious question for my 2A brothers and sisters: does any one ride and conceal carry a pistol? Or is it stupid
I wouldn’t want one on my person while riding just in case of a fall. But carrying in the ski or a bag isn’t a silly idea in areas where the law and your licensing permits l.
thank you so much @@AdamSwords
you're a genius Adam! great vide
I appreciate that!
New watch?
No this is my original Seiko mod!
@@AdamSwords That blue dial looks amazing in the sun! Very nice 👌
It’s beautiful! Thanks
My favorite Videos to watch. What was the companys name of the pants? did not find a link and wasn't able to understand it right (sorry I'm not a native english speaker) but I did order the Sunglasses immedeately :D
I just updated the description, which glasses did you go for - the same as mine? They’re awesome!
@@AdamSwords exactly the same yes you also influenced me into buying Pit Vipers which i wear walking my dog :D
Damn, you’ll be wanting to know what underpants I wear next! 😂
@@AdamSwords if you have a discount Code hesitate to try a pair but i am picky with my underwear 🤣
Hahaha ironically I do have one specific brand that I always wear because they’re so comfortable. No discount code but I do have an affiliate link for Amazon 😂

@AdamSwords how do I improve my life? I'm stuck.

Thanks Adam another fantastic video
