@@JamCan6322 Yes indeed life is better in the East compared to what western countries portray of Africa. I love Ethiopian Airline Dreamliners. The service on board is impeccable. They have been my choice for travel even from Djibouti to Dubai. Ethiopian Airline tickets are reasonable and affordable for travelers who want easy access to Africa and other continents. Night over in Addis Ababa is a flagship service they offered second to no other airline that I have travelled with before. That is what why they are deemed the spirit and pride of Africa.

But China, Singapore, Rwanda, and El Salvador took 40 years and less to build safe and thriving societies, and since 1980, the country has regressed economically, politically, socially, and in safety. How can many diasporans help when we see leaders after leaders and the elites becoming rich, owning many properties in a short space of time while the basic infrastructure deteriorates day after day.

You could be removed from the plane if an Ethiopian minister decides to travel without a reservation. Some people have found themselves in this situation. Mind you also that in Addis Ababa, white people are given preferential treatment by ETHIOPIAN Airlines and immigration staff. They usually board before blacks.

However, with an average murder rate of about 4 persons per day with a population of only 2.8 million people, it's abhorrent that we have "leaders" after "leaders" who continues to fleece the coffers, highly unaccountable and can't lower the overwhelming murder rate. How many Jamaicans living outside of Jamaica have financial resources and would love to return and give back but are afraid due to the perpetual high crime?

That flight is too long.Do You know that You flying from Ethiopia to Kigali is like flying from Atlanta to Jamaica, which is 2 and a half hours.You should have been able to lay down and stretch Your legs out.Yes,am impressed with the amount of food but I don’t know if I will ever get to visit Africa because I really don’t care for flying long.Kudos to You and wifey😊 though.
I understand that not everyone can endure long flights. However, if the benefits outweigh the pain, I'm all in. If I'm in business-class, I'm all in. I normally focus on the benefits at the end of the sacrifice, which is more rewarding than the pain. Stay tuned, I'll even go further in the near future. Don't forget, comfort is the enemy to success, and humans must explore in order to expand their mental capacity.
