I had the same problem with my washer too and nobody posted on utube did the same you did you are the men with ball to did that which beat the fucking maytag company to sell this shit to all the customers who spend alot of money to bought this shit only worked only 3 years after the warranty period thx alot for your work to help a customer like me willing to find out why it only work for a short time because the fuck maytag company want to destroy the branch name of the famous company for a long time thx again hope you are doing well I am really appreciate your help
We have this same MAYTAG washer… having an issue that when you press start it begins the cycle but then almost immediately stops and then pauses itself (like it would if you opened the door) then we push start again and it pauses again. Worth trying the soldering fix you did on this one? The unit is 10+ years old and we have never had a problem with it until now. Replace the washer?
Hi, what if we tried what you did and got no response and it’s still dead? Do we still try to do this? Our machine was in a middle of a small load (only socks and a shirt) and I went to check it and it’s completely dead, the tub is filled with water and the lid is locked. I’ve tried unplugging, waiting a whole night, a few hours several times and nothing. Usually unplugging would help but not this time. What do you recommend for us to do? Thanks!
If they were good enough washer would not have had this moisture problem on the first place . Root of the moisture needs to be stopped from front lip of the control panel by adding some silicon . ✌️

Just ran the diagnostic code… says F5 E1?
F5e1 is usually communicating problem between lid lock and main board . Make sure your door lock is ok before you do soldering work on it .

those plastic tabs you had to drill out .. does the moisture cause problem in future since tabs are gone ?

I changed the drain pump and it will not power on now a Maytag front load mhwe500vw00
Why did you changed the pump ? Was it dead or not working ?

Throw this terrible washer in the trash and get a real one. Had this piece of crap and got rid of it.
