Wait to end of the year, it would be deeply discounted.
In end of 2008, there were 15 silver Toyota Camry for $21k. They give away $8k making it only $13k.
During the housung burst of 2008, no one buy house. By end of 2010, i went to buy a house. They pay closing cost, upgrade many things in the house. We ask for another $10k for upgrade. It was on Christmas Eve and they give us another $10k.
In end of 2015, my wife and I went shopping for Honda Odyssey. Originally it was value at $37k. We got off with $30k.
By end of the year, you will expect steep discount. Just wait it out.

The prices they are asking are at full msrp. Toyota has at least a 10% markup . A $50k highlander would have $5000 to come off of the he msrp. With them throwing you a $2400 discount they are still pocketing $2600 along with other incentives. If you finance through them they are making mo money mo money!

You could always find discounts on regular Toyotas not so much on hybrids. There were no hybrids in this video.
It’s good marketing strategy , but then there are dealer ad ons, so it’s not really a deal. It’s only a deal if it’s Msrp, no ads, and 10%+ off.

Starting to see 1.9% financing and $3000 off MSRP on Toyotas plus free 3 year maintenance. I asked the dealer what else, they said they will give free 7 year service warranty plan, free winter mats and paint protection film.

Correct me if im wrong, on the first one which is @.30 seconds. If the sale price is on the front windshield, why is the sugested retail the same as the sale price? Doesnt make any sense, and if I'm not mistaken thats the same with more than one vehicle. I bet you anything the dealer adjusts the window sticker price to whatever price they want. So in other words the first grand highlander is not even on sale.
Then add the 3k dealer fee. No thank you

There will be overstock of non hybrid cars. Don’t think you’ll find highlanders and grand that have that discount. So represent correctly
Since the chip shortage and all that after the pandemic these dealers won’t budge on bringing the prices back down to msrp. It will hurt them cause they will see their profits shrink . So that is why I believe they will use the excuse of supply and demand shortages to get money out of customers.
Exactly the good old supply and demand which really sucks because they definitely try to take advantage of situations to charge us more. They should just sell the truck or car and move on. Toyota has a lot of CUVs and SUVs fighting for the same customers, way too much overlay in their CUV/SUV model lineup, but you will see further incentives on new models as buyers, play the wait and see game, dealers had the Covid time, reality is back for new vehicle prices, so, those dealers still charging over MSRP good luck with that
Exactly. I told everyone do not pay MSRP and definitely don’t pay over MSRP. You need to get some thousands off of these vehicles.
These are all non-hybrid with Turbo-charged engines. They will stay on the lot for a long, long time.

They have plenty because people aren't paying for these over priced vehicles in todays economy. If it continues, they'll keep coming down on prices.

It really just depends on where you are in the country. Some dealers get more allocation than others. At my local dealership they have zero on the lot and have a long waitlist for anything that isn’t a XLE or you’re driving a hour or two to the next closest dealer.
So the big discounts are only for gas engine Toyotas? How much discounts for the hybrid ones? That’s what really counts, at least for me
